Honestly wondering how this restaurant is still in business.Fresh food, prepared incredibly fast, served up by a staff that always seems happy, and at a very reasonable price while inflation for ingredients is through the roof.Something ain't lining up ?So thankful for this family and their restaurant. Becoming a regular. ♥

What an amazing little restaurant! From the unique decor (extensive array of all things 'coca-cola'), to the vast menu and kind, efficient staff. The best part was that we had the honor and privilege of meeting and conversing with the 80 year-old original owner, who started the restaurant in 1987 with his late wife. What a memorable lunch! We arrived for an early lunch, so the place wasn't busy at all, but by the time we left, there was a steady flow of people grabbing to-go orders and the tables were filling up. The food itself was excellent! I had the grilled chicken and a "small" order of sweet potato fries. The "small" order of fries was HUGE! A full plate piled high with possibly the best SP fries I've ever had (even better than my home cooked ones!). The chicken was delicious! Not dry at all, and the tomato on the sandwich was a REAL tomato.... Ot one of those pink round slices you get at so many places! Hubs had the Reuben, a generous sized sandwich and potato salad (homemade, handed down recipe per the original owner)...he said all was delicious! The staff even made a special order cup of coffee for the hubs! This no-frills, retro-ish little fast-ish food joint quickly found its way into our hearts, and we look forward to many fun adventures that include stopping here for a nice, easy, non-pretentious meal in the future. Highly suggest going in a bit early, as you might just get lucky enough to meet the original owner and learn the lovely history of Newsome's!

Great place for lunch. I had a delicious 1/4 lb burger with fresh tomato and lettuce. The garden salad was very good too. Clean and good service. Outside dining is available, and we enjoyed it. Only complaint is fountain drink prices are way too high; a trend in the industry, not just here.

I am not local to the area, and I won’t lie, a lot of places we went to around this area didn’t seem like they really felt like dealing with us, only their locals. However this spot was 100% different. The workers were very friendly and happy to answer all of our questions and the food was great. 100% recommend this spot, local or visiting, they’re great! Thanks!

Edit: I originally started frequenting Newsome's a number of years ago. And I'm glad to report they're still going strong, I always make a point to stop by and make a visit.I LOVE Newsomes's, best place to get a bite to eat around. It's a family owned restaurant that's been delivering great food for years. Coca-Cola themed dining area, quick service and delicious food. Low-carb options are available. As well as catering for special events with decorative fruit carving options.They also have a fun food challenge called "The Farm". Think you can tackle a 5lb burger, full basket of cheese fries and a 32oz shake? Make your attempt at the wall of fame!
