Best food on the lake! Awesome people and good prices. Terry is the definition of cool and always takes care of you. Holly is always smiling and cooks the best food on the lake and her cheese steak is off the charts!! The whole staff is amazing! Love this place! Thank y'all for all you do!

This lil place is A GEM!! LOVE IT. The minute you walk in you are welcomed by the Nicest lady in the world~ "welcome to fantasy island!" she is awesome and the reason we went back!!?The store has everything you may need for your stay in Bumpass Lake Anna!

If you’re looking for delicious homemade food than you have to try Elk Creek Store. Everything from “to go” orders, ready-made meals or just snacks and drinks. They have a wide variety and offer yummy specials that change daily. I’m a huge fan of their chili and fried chicken. Great comfort foods. Thanks to the wonderful staff who make it all possible!

If I lived closer, I would live at this store all day. The staff are so welcoming and friendly! The food is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It gets nicer every time I am in town. They have a menu that changes every day, and the food on this menu is down, home goodness! They have everything from salads to dessert....oh the cobber! You won't be disappointed. You can get it to go or eat right there. Just a great country store that aims to please and it shows.

This store has been under new management for about 3 years now and it shows. Every time you come to this store, something has changed for the better. They now have dining seating outside or a gazebo for seating/picnics. Man, has the menu taken on a new look with great country cooking. The stuffed peppers are great! The chicken is some of the best I have ever had! On the lighter side, are their salads which are a great go to. Everything is so clean and fresh. The greens are definitely the best I have ever had; wish they had them every day, but the menu does change. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try to sausage, egg, and chesse biscuit for breakfast....if it is not out, they will make it to order! Such a warm and welcoming staff that greats everyone like they are their only customer!! You get the down, home, personal touch every time! Love this place! Thank you Terry and Mike for making a great place to go!

Do not buy cigarettes or dip from this store. They don't sell them by the carton or by the log price. They sell you 10 packs at individual prices. The same with logs of dip. The employees even admitted to me that this is the only way the owner will sell them. Because he is buying them by the carton and by the log and marking them up by the pack and dip can. Thats wrong. A.T.F. should look into this. Sounds like price gouging to me.

This place has changed so much in the last year! They have a wonderful new deck and gazebo for relaxing and enjoying their delicious homemade meals! Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are all served there and every one of them is delicious. They even have ice cream and homemade cobbler to finish everything off! The chicken is the best and we have seen many folks coming just for the chicken, but there is so much more! They even have salads! The salads are great when you want something light, but there is even more! The home cooked meals are often in the warmer and ready to go. Their stuffed pepper meal is great! They have wonderful breakfast bowls ready to go and all kinds of breakfast sandwiches ready! Their greens are the best I have ever had, but the only problem is they don't serve the greens every day! Their hearty chili is hard to beat. Ask them for something special, and they fix it with a smile! They really care too! They often ask if everything is ok, and ask for your input on how they are doing! They have also really invested their hard earned dollar back into the appearance of this place and it is just wonderful! One of the best parts about going there is Terry! She can make your day with her hilarious greetings and wonderful sense of humor. She gives the place a very positive and down home feel! You couldn't ask for more in a little country store, and if you close your eyes, you might even think you are back in Mayberry!
