A really nice place to stay. The rooms are nice, and the house has a really beautiful garden where you can have your breakfast there.

Stayed 3 nights this past week. Very high temps and no AC on the upper west side of the house (garden room). Had to sleep in an 80 degree room. One fan (had to purchase another) and the windows don't open. Didn't know about any continental breakfast. Towels were never replenished until the last day of our stay. It may not have been so bad but we had to share the entire house with 25-30 other people (2.5 baths). Would not recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely stay at this beautiful, historic manor. Nancy was a thoughtful, kind hostess who graciously changed our reservation at the last minute to a ground floor room after I hurt my knee just before our trip. Everything was clean and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous with wonderful birdwatching out back. Thank you! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas for two nights. What a wonderful, historic B&B and very easy access/location. We loved our experience and the charm of the Manor! Very responsive and accommodating management. Highly recommend. This is absolutely our go to place in Buckingham County.

Lovely historic rooms, but I was concerned about steep, worn steps because I'm not as young as I used to be. We slept well upstairs in the Thomas May room.Safety: It's out in the country with little traffic.

An absolute step back in time! This lovely bed and breakfast is literally in the middle of nowhere. And I'm kinda in love with that idea. If chain hotels and perfections are what you're looking for, this isn't the place. It's big and beautiful and perfectly imperfect. Nancy, the owner, is wonderful and considerate of your needs. She really made me feel quite welcome. I truly appreciate that. The manor itself is like something out of an old Agatha Christie movie- tons of land, beautiful inside with a hint of the past. There are even old fashioned keyholes in the door! Hercule Poirot, here I come! The leaves are falling because, well, it's fall, duh. Silly me. I'm a bit cold but not terribly so. Thankfully the sun is peeking out and it's not that cold out yet. We sat and had coffee while watching the leaves fall and feeling the cool breeze. I don't know when, but I'm coming back!

I do not recommend this business. I do, in fact, believe in the rule of law, and I do believe this organization has it all wrong. False advertising.

Super cool place to stay. The owner is very accommodating and kind. We booked a room on a whim late in the evening ans she was able to help. The house is beautiful with I think period furnishings. Really a great place to stay.
