My dad and I spent the better part of a week driving all over VA trying to find a used 4Runner for me. Every one we looked at was either so rusted it might fall apart any second, covered with spray paint so you couldn’t see the rust, or the place was so sketchy we felt like we were in a mafia movie. The good news is we realized just how amazing Trax Auto, especially Kristina, was. Every single vehicle on the lot looked to be in great shape, and I was surprised at the availability they had on such a relatively small lot compared to some of the big northern VA lots.This is a family owned business and you can tell they do their research before picking vehicles to be sold. Kristina’s brother (sorry I forget his name) is the mechanic and did an amazing job with the detailing. Everyone thinks my 2008 4Runner is less than 5 years old, and it looks brand new inside.Kristina was extremely responsive, personable, knowledgeable, helpful and patient as she helped us through the buying process, whether it was allowing us to get it inspected (shoutout to the Firestone guy down the road who said he’d be happy to put his little kids in that car) or navigating through all the bank processes. And it’s a plus that she loves 4Runners too!Don’t underestimate the potential of this small town dealership. You can tell they care about the quality of their vehicles, unlike some of the bigger places that just want to move inventory. We will definitely be back in the future!!

I recently worked with Kristina to get a used car for my daughter. The process was smooth, transparent, and Kristina was a real pleasure to work with. You can tell she really cares about her customers, we never felt any pressure to buy or settle for less. I would highly recommend.

PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!\nAt time of purchase:\nI needed a vehicle for my daughter and everyone working at Trax was very friendly and knowledgeable! Kristina is a sweetheart!!! The process was painless and I am incredibly happy! This is the second vehicle I purchased from Trax! I would highly recommend them!!!! Thank you all again!!!\nUpdate:\nThis car for the past year has been an absolute nightmare. There was a significant oil leak, lights fell off in the car wash that were glued on, the windshield wiper broke immediately, the power steering went out, and the alternator needed to be replaced. When I contacted Kristina, she shamed me repeatedly for not buying the expensive warranty. This car was an emergency purchase. I needed reliable transportation for my daughter during a difficult time. It broke down on her several times driving to a night shift job. Trax offered to pay half for repairs, but they were the last place on earth I would trust to fix my car after telling me this vehicle was just put out on the lot, when it was actually sitting in their back lot for a long time (found that out recently). I guess that was a half truth. I confronted Kristina on this and she never denied it. I am just writing to warn others about what they tell you about a used vehicle. Kristina only offered to take it in on a trade or purchase it for wholesale, which is essentially nothing..it would not even cover the pay off. Do your research…we were unfortunately in a hurry and I felt very taken advantage of in that situation. It is also sad because I had purchased the owner’s vehicle directly from him several years back. He was kind and they went above and beyond during that time to help me. That is why I did not hesitate to return, but please be careful..get your vehicle checked out really well. When I did return, I had tried to talk to him about buying his truck in the past and he didn’t even acknowledge my existence. The service is not like it used to be. Sad.
