I tried to ship/return a shoe box order from a retailer store who sells running shoes.I had shipping label printed out, but Walgreens would not tape it. They told me they would not do that service for free.I needed to buy white scotch packing tape and since they had a sale for 50% off second one I ended up buying two. So total cost was 8$ for me out of pocket for tape.I wish I had known that Walgreens won't tape shipping labels for you that you print out.It's a terrible experience, in my opinion. Why do I have to waste 5 min to buy tape and then another 3 min to tape the label to the box myself -- because I have to make sure to tape the top of box lid down, so shoes won't fall out.Terrible customer service. And then I saw the counter guy printing out fedex label for the guy next to me who was returning another box. Wow, why does Walgreens print out sticky shipping labels for some but not for me. Total bummer.Horrible Walgreens location, I've had pretty spotty service from them in past. On top of that they have the gall to charge me for tape for a simple return with FedEx.Well, just not liking this Walgreens or the way they treat customers, is all. Literally made me waste over 10 min in a simple FedEx return process for a shoe box. Holy cow!

An average Walgreens. There's definitely not enough staff working to help the store and pharmacy. However they have a decent amount of inventory and products to choose from and the store is very organized.The pharmacy is very busy and there's usually only one pharmacist handling everything. The technicians are very well trained and helpful to customers. I'm not sure why people are writing about the phones not being answered as it's picked up almost immediately when someone calls them. Just be patient and expect at least some type of wait time.

The pharmacy here is really third rate. They intentionally ignore phone calls, often leaving you on hold for fifteen minutes before simply picking up the receiver and hanging up on you. The corporate office needs to find a way to solve systemic issues like this.

Appalling, you have to feel sorry for the single member of staff on duty! Simply trying to collect a parcel from their FedEx collection point took a whole morning. Simply terrible, had to direct them myself in the end and for an apology, just received attitude. If only you could leave zero stars!

Pharmacy staff doesn’t care about their patients at all. Patient is out of medication and all they had to do it call doctor office to verify prescription but they won’t do it and says they are busy. Very poor customer service.

Pharmacy is beyond pitiful. You call and call and they must have the phone on a loop, you never get through to a live person. If you are trying to get meds - better go elsewhere. I have gone to this location for six years, but I think I am done. Maybe I'll try the new CVS

The Southern Walk Walgreens Pharmacy hires the least competent sent of individuals I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I have called 12 times over the past two weeks, waiting on hold for over 30 minutes every time, and NEVER got through to someone. Not a single time. I've submitted Rx transfer requests several times online, and they have ALL been ignored. My insurance lapses at the end of the month (today) and all 3 of prescriptions were not filled in time even though the pharmacy received my transfer requests weeks ago. I will now be in a very desperate spot health wise and it is entirely due to the mismanagement of this pharmacy. You're truly better off talking to a wall.

Forced to try and switch because tricare decides to cut more pharmacies. Wait and hour was told wait some more so I wait another half hour. Still no help. Worst place ever!!

One star is too much to rate today's interaction with the pharmacy members at SOUTHERN PLAZA. My daughter got her covid vaccIne today, and the attention to detail from this team is to 'say the least' broken at so many levels. From a simple greeting (making a 9 year old) feel at ease with a shoot to leaving my wife and daugther in a unattended room filled with drugs!!!! I am so upset my wife had to go through this. I do not recommend this pharmacy team or location. They are not courteous , or qualified at any customer service level. It is a shame that Walgreens employs such individuals. We hope management completes some training asap at this location. BE MORE HUMAN FOLKS. Robert

I had been a long time pharmacy customer for this Walgreens location. Over the last two weeks, pharmacy has LOST my trust. They kept telling me that the doctor never sent the prescription to them. So I called my doctor and they said they called the pharmacy and settled it with them. So I drive back over there and they said "Nope, we never received the prescription from your doctor." I, again, called my doctor back and they were perplexed and a bit annoyed with the pharmacy for denying that they ever got the prescription from them. They called them once again and settled it. This morning I called (Instead of driving to get it as I wanted to see if they had it ready for me to pick up). They again said that they never got the prescription. I called my doctor and they were very pissed at being accused by Walgreens of not sending the prescription. They told me that they had sent it to TWO separate pharmacies to be sure either one of them will have it ready for me. I finally told Walgreens that I no longer trusted them and that I was "firing" them from being my go-to pharmacy and went to another Pharmacy around the corner: Harris Teeter who had everything ready from the minute they had my prescription. Harris Teeter has their crap straight when Walgreens doesn't. I will NEVER go back to Walgreens to get pharmacy items OR even any other items. They've permanently LOST my business because they are SO dishonest.

The staff here is incredibly rude. The pharmacy has no idea what they're doing. I was told my prescription was ready, went to pick it up, then was told it wasn't ready and I had to wait for the pharmacist who was on their lunch break. Every time I pick something up, there's an issue.
