A great place to pick Strawberries in the Bristow area.
Yankee Farms in Bristow offers a delightful strawberry picking experience that embodies the essence of wholesome, family-friendly farm outings. Nestled amidst picturesque grass fields, the strawberry fields at Yankee Farms invite visitors to immerse themselves in the joy of harvesting ripe, juicy strawberries straight from the vine. Parking is on the grass in a fenced field off the road and right in front of the strawberry field. The experience began with a warm welcome from friendly staff sitting at table under a tent right off the parking area. They provide baskets and guidance on where and how to pick the best berries. The rows of strawberries are well maintained, ensuring easy access and a bountiful harvest. There were about 20 rows and the best picking is in the back due to many people picking the closest area. You are walking between the rows of dirt and bending over to search for the best picks. I think families with children will especially appreciate the opportunity to educate youngsters about where food comes from and they will have fun tilling the baskets with berries. Overall, Yankee Farms in Bristow provides a memorable strawberry-picking experience that combines freshness, fun, and the simple pleasures of outdoor adventure. It’s an ideal destination for anyone seeking a taste of rural charm and a hands-on agricultural experience.

Not rating their quality of work, but their attitude and unprofessionalism: I parked and walked in to ask if they accept kids, and the first thing I heard as I opened the door was, "No walk-ins." No "Hi," no "How can I help?" Nothing! And the demeanor was annoyed too.
I asked, "Did you say no walk-ins?" I wasn't sure if I heard correctly, and he nodded yes while continuing to work on someone’s hair, without making eye contact or looking at me again. There was another man sitting there who was just staring at me, and not in a flattering way, haha!
So I asked where I could make an appointment. He said, "On Instagram," in one-word responses without even looking at me. So I left. I don’t know if they give the best haircuts in the world, but they definitely are not the nicest people. ??♀️

Great little place to puck strawberries! Parking is close to the entrance and they had plenty of rows of strawberry plants to choose from. It wasn't crowded when we went on a beautiful Saturday morning in early June.

I was switching containers in the parking lot and shoved my finger through a berry so I ate it. These are hands down THE BEST strawberries I’ve EVER had. I came home and immediately cut a bunch up and made some whipped cream. The field is huge (at least to me it is). We went around noon and will be returning for sure.
For the quality of the fruit I feel the pricing is great

Strawberries are delicious. $32 a basket, quite steep. Yankey Farms never disappoints.

We’ve been bringing our kids here since they were tiny. Strawberries and pumpkins are always excellent. Happy to support a local farm!

Please be careful with your little ones. We were playing in the kernel sandbox and a giant black widow came aggressively out of the kernels towards us. Thank goodness we got my daughter’s hands out of there fast enough. Of course this could happen at any farm or anywhere, but according to staff someone was bit recently. Aside from that, we were charged $8 for my daughter who is under 2, and the lady ringing us up knew that beforehand. Didn’t realize she was supposed to be free until after we left. Overall, not quite the experience we were hoping for but it’s a peaceful, sizable farm. We enjoyed seeing the farm animals, as the cow just gave birth a few days prior.

I was there today with my family but we found this place was a little boring. The farm has a few animals and about 5 more activities to do with the kids nothing really nice tho I find the price a bit expensive for few attractions.$8.00 kids and adults. We finish so fast and we had to leave soon there was nothing else to do.

0 STARS! My boyfriend & I came to bring our daughter & my niece to pick out pumpkins for Halloween, & our experience here was terrible. Right when we got there an older lady comes marching up to us and states “What are y’all doing here?” With an attitude. My boyfriend & I were so confused. She then states angrily that we parked in the wrong section, & that we should read the signs. I stated to her moving the car would not be an issue, but she needs to learn how to talk to people especially if you’re helping run a business. She then proceeds to talk aggressively to us about the signs. We didn’t want to entertain the argument anymore, so we decided to leave. Mind you, the signs are small when indicating the entrance especially coming from up the road. If I could rate this place a “0” star I would. The lady was nasty, & rude in front of my daughter and niece, & this is all before we could even reach the entrance!

I will be definitely giving my review to my subscribers on my channel I instantly felt unwelcomed upon walking up we were greeted rudely I definitely felt this farm was racist being African American coming to support and bring my children to have a great time out of all the farms with pumpkin patches I chose this one and I’m highly disappointed I was questioned as to why I parked by the house when the gpa sent me there automatically the old Caucasian lady ask me if I’m lost as if I don’t belong there and instead of being welcoming they mad me feel as if I don’t belong there I quickly turned around and left because I will not be treated in such a unprofessional racist rude energy way Even the people around looked which were not much because it was deserted but yea if your African American please stay away don’t waste your money on old racist people I took my money else where !

Stopped in quick for some pumpkins early a Friday afternoon, only 2 other families there, yet we stood in line for what seemed life forever. I decided to pull my car around to streamline our exit/loading and was given a hard time for parking in the "no parking area" by the lady there. It wasn't busy at all, I wasn't impeeding anyone, and was just trying to get out of there faster...prices are fine I guess for the locality, but if you want many or bigger pumpkins, this isn't the place to go. Very underwhelming "fall fun" especially for any kid over thr age of like 5. I doubt we will be back.Update: the one $37 pumpkin I bought, has rotten already, we didn't carve it or anything yet, started rotting from the outside...it's gross. Didn't even make it to Halloween. Save you money and buy better quality pumpkins elsewhere
