The 27th of June payment was approved by CAR SHIELD for the repair. 4 hr job promised July 3rd 1st time. September 16th, no show in Court for show cause as to why 3 months to replace a Benz turbo charger. Our attorney and I waited an hour while the"dog hair was cleaned up" from the area around the rear hatch. What Dog? My I am a veteran. my wife and I are both disabled and these people did everything they could to remove us from the equation, why Billy?

They were fantastic helping us get back on the road. We had some car trouble after a youth mission trip and they helped us diagnose and fix what we needed to make it back home. We are so appreciative of thier kindness and hospitality!

Driving my Jeep back from San Diego and I broke down on the side of Interstate 81 on a Friday afternoon. Waiting for the tow truck I must've called 7 or 8 shops in the area who all told me I was out of luck and wouldn't even look at my car until Monday. Called B&R and they said no problem, bring it on by. Billy and Renea are two of the kindest folks I've had the pleasure of meeting. They were able to get me fixed up by the very next day and the Jeep drives better now than it did before! Renea even took me to my hotel and picked me up in the morning to to get me back to the shop. When every other shop in the area just seemed to care about some corporate policy, Billy and Renea cared about the person in trouble. Thank you guys so much for taking care of me and getting me back to my family!

These people don’t really know what theyre doing. I don’t trust them. They destroyed my car after 1200$ and after 1300, they’ve had my mom’s car for a month. They apparently fixed it, gave it back and ofc it wasn’t fixed at all, it was worse. Now they have the car, pretending they don’t I guess. Never going back

I found myself in Bristol, VA. My car jumped time, stopped running on Lee Highway, and then my brakes also went out. It was a freezing cold afternoon, so I couldn’t wait for a tow truck that could take several hours to arrive; I walked to the hotel.
From the first phone call I exchanged with B&R, there was trouble. I was told that my car was completely out of gas, as claimed by the tow truck driver who went to get my car, so they’d put gas in there.
Subsequent calls with Renee (spelling?) were exercises in frustration and futility. I politely tried to explain that I couldn’t come up with a large sum of money, all at once. I was in a life-or-death situation with some health issues, among numerous other problems.
After many calls back and forth, and in literally every single call, I was told by Renee, “My husband’s getting aggravated with this.” So was I. People were harassing me for money that, try as I might, I couldn’t raise for several weeks. These people were treating me like a deadbeat “handing them a sob story,” to use the husband’s words.
Every time I talked to them, the price changed. Same for the work that my car supposedly needed. At first, it was the “timing belt” which would be done for $850 plus taxes and fees. Repeatedly over the phone, I was told “timing belt”. That was one of the first problems.
I was fed up with being told different things over the phone, so I went to the shop. Renee was out sick, but Billy came out to “greet” me. It was a cold, windy morning, and they had a dog in the shop that seemed aggressive. I was told where on the property to walk and not to walk, so as not to “instigate the dog”. Then, Billy told me to wait on a bench outside in the shade, where I was fully exposed to the cold wind, while he went to pick up an employee.
Once he returned, he started talking circles around me. He told me that I would require a new engine, and had to call Renee to ask if that was the case. He brought the phone in and she said that I would require a “timing chain” and not an engine. She then said that I would owe for five gallons of gas, too.
Anyway, they were both extremely rude to me, and they had changed the prices and story of what work I needed so many times that I was confused and just didn’t know what to make of it all. Sometimes when I get flustered or upset, I have a tic where my eyes dart and I blink fast. Billy saw that and made a rude remark about my standing there, “rolling those eyes in the back of that head at me.”
I then told him that I needed a day to think things over because I was upset. He started talking down to me even more, making rude comments about my saying I was confused.
I asked him what it would take to settle my bill with them and take my car somewhere else. He hit me with, “Since I’m not doing the work, it’ll be $100. $85 for an hour of my time and $15 for five gallons of gas.” His wife did offer to come take me to the hotel, but they’d harassed me on the phone, and claimed they’d called my hotel and knew what room I was in. I later found out that was NOT true. While waiting for my ride, Billy kept coming up and making remarks at me when he knew I wanted him to leave me alone.
A few days later, I had found another shop that would do the work for $300 less, so two friends, a married couple, came to the shop with me to move my car. Initially, Billy was polite to us, but Renee was hateful right from the start. She started by telling me to pay for five gallons of gas that “the tow truck driver put in because the car was out of gas.” My friends called her on that: why five gallons, when one would have been more reasonable? Then the story changed to Renee put the gas in my car and went out in the freezing weather to put the gas in. Then she changed the story again.
My friends were witnesses to the hostile behavior. They weren’t rude as much to the gentleman, but they

Recently was moving across the country and a warning for my transmission appeared shortly after crossing into Virginia. We pulled off the first exit possible and the first lot we could pull into was B&R/Tri State Auto Repair. The owners and mechanics were not only helpful and kind, but knowledgable and competent. What I thought would be a few weeks and a full replacement turned into an afternoon/evening and a clean bill of health on my car once they were done! I am so thankful for the work that they did as professionals and also the kindness they showed as people. Highly recommend this shop and again, I am so thankful and blessed we turned up here and got to use their services!

I pulled in one morning on my way to work with my pickup over heating. They opened the hood and said “it’s the water pump”. I asked if they could fix it. They fixed it the same day and I picked it so what evening. They also put a brake boaster on my wife’s car. Great to deal with. I recommend them.
