I had a slight problem with a vehicle I purchased. Performance Motors had the vehicle towed from one garage to another and the minor problem was corrected promptly. They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the repair. Not once were my messages ignored and I was always responded to promptly. They will work with you until you are completely satisfied. Thank you Performance Motors!!

Bought a vehicle from this dealership from eBay, got it home and it was a lemon! Turns out the inspection was forged. Looked fine on the outside, but up underneath all the components were rusted out. Exhaust system had to be replaced - it was held up by a bungee! Engine was leaking fluids from the top, oil pan had a huge hole, brake system needed complete overhaul - and transmission wasn't even mounted. Over $4k to fix it up just to get it on the road and safe. I was hoping to buy a car that was inspectable, otherwise why buy a car? Owner unreasonable and stubborn - won't take vehicle back or compensate me. This has been a very distressing experience, do not go here - ever - frauds and deceivers. Owner said it'd only cost $150 to replace my entire exhaust system. This has been a nightmare! You have been warned.

Update: this dealership says they are going to sue me - ha - for what? For posting the truth? Sue me and we'll expose the truth to the judge. They say that I'm mad for my mechanic ripping me off, well, I trust my mechanic as an expert in 4x4 vehicles and I know I'm not getting wholesale dealership prices for these parts, but that they'll be installed correctly. If it's so cheap for the dealership to fix these issues, they should have fixed these issues before shipping the car to me so I didn't have to spend a ton of money getting it repaired.
They tried to take advantage of the situation and thought they'd get an easy sale because I live so far away and wouldn't pursue them. If you notice in their review, they keep mentioning that I am a young woman, to try to say that I don't know what I'm talking about - however, I know a rust bucket when I see one. This car was advertised on eBay as being in great condition, mechanically and aesthetically, and sold way above market value. When I pointed this out, they assured me, "You don't ever see these in this condition anymore." I guess that's true, I have never seen a Jeep this expensive and in this bad of shape.
The warranty plan only covers engine failure, and I figured I didn't need that knowing the reputation of these 4.0 liter engines. I wouldn't trust going into any sort of warranty relationship with this dealership, in hindsight.
I never said anything rude or insulting to any of the workers here, if they interpreted it that way it's because they have something to hide. I called their shop repeatedly as soon as the car arrived in its condition, but could never get in touch with anyone. The owner ignored my calls, and only his secretary would email me. I could only discuss this through email. They offered to mail a check of $200 to me to compensate me for the $4k worth of damage, and when I said that wasn't enough to even cover the parts for the exhaust rather than listen to me they cancelled the check! Talk about rude!
In the three months since I've owned this car, these are the repairs that have had to be done, after it had to be towed TWICE after DYING ON THE HIGHWAY (thank goodness for AAA):
- New exhaust from cat back, along with tail pipe hanger
- New transmission mount
- New exhaust manifold
- New camshaft position sensor/distributor
- New crankshaft sensor
- New valve cover gasket and pcv valve
- Full front and rear break replacement: cylinders, drums, pads, shoes, rotors, pistons, calipers, hardware the works
- New alternator
- New battery
- New oil pan and gasket
- New sway bar links and bushings
- New headlights
- New front and rear axles seals, bearings and guides and universal joints
- New fuel pump
- And besides all of this, I just discovered that the car has a totally bondo-ed rocker panel and the rust is just sneaking through their cover-up paint job. They advertised this car as "no rust".

Drove from Knoxville Tennessee to purchase a truck here about 2 months ago for our son. Truck is exactly as described and was in excellent condition. Great persons to work with at this dealership. Will come back and buy again for our daughter!
