“I needed a PCP due to my other "doctor" never being available. I filled out the online forms and in a span of 2-3 days (can't remember) I was contacted by Carilion Clinic. They scheduled me out and let me know they would be sending in my forms by mail to fill out. 1 week before my appointment I received all my forms and filled them and took them to my appointment. I arrived 15 min earlier and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I was so impressed by how fast their service was since I was used to waiting for 30 min or more at my last doctor. Kelly Rupp was awesome and she listened to everything I had to say. She was very professional and friendly. Needless to say I WILL be coming back to her for my medical needs.”

“I saw Dr. Ludica for my first visit. Everyone I talked with was friendly and helpful, front desk, nurses, and checkout. I didn't have to wait at all before being brought back. Dr. Ludica had excellent bedside manner and listened to all of my concerns. The lady that did my bloodwork (Dorothy?) was AMAZING. I hate needles and I always cry, but I swear I didn't feel a thing. I had a great experience over all and I'm glad I finally found a PCP and practice I love.”

“I'm not here to say Sentara's personnel are perfect. However, I've witnessed plenty of demanding and rude patients that lack etiquette while on my doctor/lab visits so it can go both ways. Perhaps the nurses get tired of dealing with these types of personalities and it sours their mood. Everyone should show a little kindness.”

“Dr. Ashby is quite possibly the most knowledgable, experienced, professional, down to earth doctor in the state of Virginia , and across the country probablly. Very caring to each individuals patients personal feelings and concerns , and doesnt just approach with a standoff , it is what it is attitude like most Drs. I have dealt with in the State.My quality of life would be nowhere near as well as it is right now , if i had kept stepping backwards on my illness , with the many other unexperienced, careless , PCPs and Specialists around the state of VA. Hands down the example of what EVERY health professional should model themselves after.Staff is also very attentitive for the most part as well.
