Our family have been camping here for the last 3 years. We love being on the lake! This place has a pool, Putt putt , playground, boat access, & fishing. The staff are very friendly & accommodating. The grounds & bathrooms are always very clean. You can tell this place is well kept. We have never had a single issue & have probably camped here 6 or more times now.

Rude employees and manager. Crowded. Loud. Quiet ? Hell no. Beach access ? No. Trashy environment. Drunk people walking looking in your r.v. what a joke this place was. Definitely a mistake to stay here.

♿️ Handicapped Accessible - I wanted to let others know that this campground seems to be much more wheelchair friendly than most. Also, the care and artistry shown by many at their campsites was so lovely to tour while walking through.

We camp, but the service there is top notch, bath houses cleaned regularly. Lots of nice sites with water and electric, right on the lake.

This is a unique type of campground. The location is pretty good, and it is on a portion of Lake Gaston on the VA side. There are quite a few bathhouses on the property for the tenters and campers with no showers or bathrooms in them. They are kept very clean and sanitary at all times. I enjoyed being at this campground for a quick weekend getaway. The only downside, maybe, is the limited amount of non fulltime sites available. Other than that, I would go back when the opportunity is available.

Stayed in a tent. The site was on the water with trees all around.It is beautiful there. Everyone was so nice. Pool was great!!Only problem was the bathroom was a good distance away from our tent. Eeek. We will be prepared next time tho. We do? plan on going again!!

We loved for our 1st camping. Our guide to our camp site was so very helping me get our camper backed into our site. We're already booked for a return trip.Very clean restrooms. Camp store folks very friendly and helpful. We love it here at Lake Gaston.Nearby activities: Boat marina close by.

Good campground with plenty of shade and a nice pool. Only complaint would be had to use a non used campsite to get into the lake. There is no designated place to swim in the lake on the property. Kind of what I go to do. If you boat then it is ideal as there is a ramp and plenty of docks for you to use. Staff is good and the store is well stocked with what you need.

This place is awesome!90$ a night campsites(air conditioned cabin,tent site, community bath,pool,lake,mini golf,pool table,corn hole,jet ski and boat rentals)nice!

This is our new favorite campground. Yes, it's not your typical KOA style campground but we found that to be it's charm.
