“This building is so cool!! Dating back to the 1800's, this post office delivers! Well, it used to! What a beautiful work of architectural charm! The Drewryville post office became damaged when a fire in an adjacent building caught fire in 2018. Plans to renovate and reopen the post office have been underway since and I'm sure the 750+ residents would love to see this historic landmark refurbished soon. There's been some indication that a new building may house the post office, but it would be a shame to move it from this beloved spot. If you get a chance to come to this small town, you'll want to take the time to visit this unique structure. We loved peering through the windows at the antique fixtures, the brass mailboxes, the marble counters... incredible. Post offices services are temporarily being offered at a small mobile van across the street from this building. It has minimal hours and it's rather inconvenient to the residents. Here's hoping this post office rises from the ashes and returns to its epic former glory!”
