Atlantic Union is a great customer-first bank. This branch is an historic location dating back to the origin story of Union Bank and Trust. There is a mural on the wall, behind the teller desks that tell the story of Caroline County. There is also a small back museum inside the building. Worth a visit.

If it is possible to give less than one star I would. My card has been put on hold twice both for purchases I have made to a local coffee shop that I have visited multiple times a week. Then several days ago my account had been hacked and five large withdrawals were made and my account was empty. I immediately called my bank confirmed my account and my identity and then the customer service representative told me that the purchases were still in the pending stage and that she had cancelled them, but it would not be canceled until Monday. But wait there is more. Monday rolls around and I go to check the purchases and they are no longer in the pending stage and it says that the purchases had gone through. So now I have to go through a long process to get my money back after I was told not to worry about. Needless to say once I get my money back I am switching banks. I would also like to add that the bank didn't catch it Idid and I had to notify them.

This is one of the few banks left that put their customers first. The building is beautiful and the staff are really nice. Sometimes I go in just to have a cup of coffee and chat with the staff (I know they have work to do, so I don't stay long)!
I also like the fact that they aren't trying to sell you another account every time you walk in.
