We went inside and prepaid our fuel for 50.00 at the register with a woman named Lisa. Got our gas around 3:49PM and left. Then at around 6:50PM sitting in our home an hour and a half away, our bank alerted that we had been charged with yet another 50.00 charge at the same shell station??? This charge put our checking account in the negative. We tried reaching out yesterday only to be told that we needed to call today. Called today to get help and Ashley answered the phone. She said she couldn’t help and we needed to call corporate, when we asked for the phone number she said ended the call. So now we have to wait 10 days for our bank to dispute to get our money back and were treated disrespectfully! Would not recommend using this store unless you have paper cash, because this is very suspicious.

Last minute stop in not long ago...i was dying for Chocolate milk. Ran in, gran a half gallon, paid and ran out. Couldn't wait to get home to have some. My dog was in my lap and insisting on driving so I had no choice. He and I bolt in the house and before I even to ale off his leash I crack that baby open. Yuuum... my favorite... no..no...what the #+"* is this thiiiis.... I'm vomiting immediately and confused nonetheless. That's when it hit me~you didn't check the date dumb@$$. It was a week and 2 days over the date. Eeeek. Sheew. Yes people I know...I shouldve checked the date but I was negligent.... You would think you could trust places of business not to sell something like that in the first place. But, then again... All humans make mistakes. Especially me, even you. Just check the date yourself, have a great day. ?

Stopped by to purchase gas...the wait in line was terrible... Heather the cashier was completely rude. She was eating, using her phone and cursing. Then she would shout. I'm sorry y'all. It was a busy day. I asked to speak to the manager and it happened that the owner was there. His name is Safe. He had a terrible attitude about his staff. He told me that because nobody wanted to work his hands were tied. I suggested that if that was the case then maybe he should run the register. That upset him and he told me he worked 20 hours a day, that he had 6 other stores to deal with. People were leaving the store because of his cashier Heather. I guess he would rather lose business than to train his employees the correct way. He was playing on his phone as was speaking to him about this situation. I will never stop at Shell again. I'd rather walk than to deal with the ignorance of that place!

This shell in Vinton. They have a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut along with a small kitchen that features a solid breakfast every morning. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty clean. They have some local grown season produce in the stands outside.

Wouldn’t recommend it here. The owner likes to make false companies such as “Saji Enterprises” and then steal money from the employees especially since he decided to fire someone who just recently had a baby and decided to take out $300 for something that was no fault of the employee. I wouldn’t even recommend working here to be completely honest. It just isn’t worth it.

I would not recommend anyone use the Shell station in Boones Mill especially if the cashier Sherry is working. she put the money that I had paid for gas on the wrong pump and then when she finally switched me to the one I was parked at it stopped at 4% when I went in to say something to her she got all pissed off and said that they were being the victim of scammers on the gas pumps and that they had gotten taken twice in one week and not to take it out on her so I ask my for my money back which she said she could not give me then finally when I just told her to keep it then and walked out she comes walking out with my money and told me to take it up with the manager if I had a problem she was more concerned with flirting with the two gentlemen standing in there talking to her been helping the customer

I like this Shell on 220. It's very convenient. My wife and I both stop here sometimes. The service is great with the exception of one employee. There is a guy named "James" who works here. He told my wife he used to work at Sheetz in Rocky Mount. James is very annoying and he comes off in a creepy way. He tried to talk to my wife and ask her all kinds of questions and he asked her where she works. My wife ignored his question about where she works and he got visibly upset that she ignored his question. If James tries to talk to you, just politely ignore him.
