“I cannot say enough about how great this business is. I needed to get rid of a part of a sectional couch so I could fit my new one sofa in. Called all thrift stores in town and all of them refused to pick it up despite me paying them over $50 to do the job. They also discriminated based on my couch being a part of a sectional, not being from a pet free home etc. I called New Line and they picked it up on the exact date and time I needed the couch gone. They charged me $60 but saved me from a great ordeal. God bless them!”
“This is my favorite thrift store in RVA! Great selection, fair prices, kind employees, and a wonderful mission. I stopped by the other day and the owner was incredibly friendly. All long-sleeve shirts were $2 which is a fantastic price and some items were even 50% off. This place is truly a gem and I hope it sticks around for many years. Wishing the owner and this store many years of good luck. Will be back soon!”

“This store was a very cool find. They have some estate stuff as well as some newer things by artists. The prices are reasonable for the most part... that is a personal preference but for us most of it was reasonable. Some of it was high. What is nice is that if some of the stuff stays around for a while- the price drops and the price tag has the dates it drops. There is a wide variety of things... furniture, mirrors, art, plates, etc.The people that work there are very nice and helpful.I have told several people about this location! We go every month or so to see what is new.”

“I love shopping at Goodwill!!! I must say this store the employees are super friendly! One such employee named Christie just is so kind and happy spirited it make me want to shop!!! I was in here about 2 hours and she went out of her way and made every customer feel special!!! Seriously, Goodwill should have her training other employees at all their stores as it just makes me want to go back and highly recommend this store!!!! The store itself seemed well run and clean bathrooms!”

“Can’t believe I didn’t find this boutique earlier!! Unfortunately I’m moving in July to NYC but every-time I visit home I WILL come in and make some bigger purchases with my big girl money. Came to do a little shopping for some fun dresses/tops for vacation to the DR! Found some great styles but what really got me was the AMAZING selection of brands, patterns, colors and the amazing prices. Great music, great decor and great vibes! I will absolutely be back!!”

“I'm a big fan of this store - I go here a few times a month. You can definitely find some gems. Prices are a little high, and sometimes I wonder if they are trying to match online prices. I would probably spend twice as much if they lowered them a bit! I'd recommend lowering prices on books, dvds and cds especially. But I am a loyal customer either way and can easily spend over an hour in here each visit.”

“Great place to buy stuff and everyone working there has always been so nice but I’ve called or stopped there to donate things seven times as of today and even when I’ve called or gotten there before noon the sign that they are full for the day is always up. It’s a waste of time. Everyone is very nice about it, but I wouldn’t waste your time dropping by there. Easier to donate elsewhere unfortunately”

“Stopped in from out of town. My family recommended this store and, I love a thrift store for a good cause. Christian based, they sell clothes, books, toys, furniture, jewelry and so much more. Happy to note that each book was $1. Hardcover books are $3.”

“Best thrift store in the Patterson / Tuckahoe area. Good selection of books and stationery, and both are cheap. It is my solemn conviction that decent-condition used paperbacks ought to go for fifty cents each, and Thrift For Life meets that benchmark. That alone puts this place above the other two thrift stores on Patterson Avenue. Furthermore, the sign out front notes that all proceeds go to the Massey Cancer Center, which is a worthwhile beneficiary. The other two thrift stores fund local church outreach organizations. Best of luck to them, but honestly? I'd rather my money fight cancer.Anyways, in those categories of things that I purchase from thrift stores, Thrift For Life has both a decent supply and reasonable prices. Besides all that, it's a nice and cozy place. Highly recommend.”

“This thrift store is right across the street from another one and they're both great! Redemption Thrift is huge. There is a full room dedicated to homegoods and other knick knacks and then another one for clothes and the like. There is so much variety here. The prices are pretty reasonable and a lot of the items are in good condition.I ended up buying some taper candles for a great price from here. I didn't get the chance to look much at their clothing, but hope to come back soon. They had a nice selection of books here too. The people who work here are really kind. I would come back.”
