Di, is the best I've been to for my hair braiding needs. She does exactly what you want with great quality. I have had butterfly locs, and corn rolls. Great quality!!! She has a customer for life. Tahnesha slayed my hair, again giving you exactly what you want, with great quality and care. I highly recommend Top Notcth for ALL your needs.

Professionalism at its best. Nice, clean atmosphere. Down to earth staff. Mrs. Shirley and her crew are repre senting Richmond well. I haven't heard anything bad about them. Go and support Black natural products and watch them support you right back.

Bree is a scam artist and it would behoove you not to deal with her nor this salon. It is encouraged that you book on the Salon Seat app and it will even attempt to charge your card 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment even though she did not confirm your appointment. Even if your appointment is booked more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. You've been warned.

Yeah I remember this place a long time ago. Needed a natural hair stylist and I forgot how they treated me. Its ok, though. Can't always expect people to behave like human beings. My two strand twist was good because the owner did it. The brother washed my hair and acted like a chick with an attitude. I was joking with him telling him he was too rough. But he proceeded to talk about my hair. Daughter was ok until she started to gossip about a client. Owner, some dude with dreads, daughter, tried to throw shade on me on the low. Then finally the owner boyfriend or "friend" came in look like a thug. And made me feel uncomfortable as he seem to be getting next to her while she was doing my hair. At times when she left in the other room, I felt she was doing something sexual with him. They all are nasty people, no room to talk about how someone look, when they look like they do. Be warn, don't tell tem your business. Learn my lesson..i will not support black own business who don't respect me. The only reason why I stayed because I needed my hair done and I really felt sorry for them. Sad people. I just keep praying for them.

The receptionist was very friendly and pleasant. The girl who washed my hair needed more training. After she washed my hair she handed me what looked like poorly washed wash rags to dry my hair and face off. I contemplated walking out but I was in desperate need of getting my hair done so I stayed. I sat and waited for about 45 mins to and hour to be seen by the stylist. She seemed very knowledgeable about natural hair care. I showed her a picture of what style I wanted and she showed me the type of hair she would be using. The whole braiding process took about 7 hours. I did not like the outcome of my hair and wanted to leave so I paid and left. This is a family business and they behaved as such. It made me slightly uncomfortable because they were very loud. The style I recieved was not worth the amount of money I paid. Let's just say the ends of the braids looked like octopus tentacles, it was fuzzy, it was very ugly. She put my hair in an ugly style I looked like one of the chicks from the 90s sitcom living single.
