“Last night my van stalled on 419 in Roanoke. I drifted onto a side street but was blocking traffic. I had no power. It was raining. I have had AAA travel insurance for many years. I called for roadside assistance and also called Roanoke County police. The officer was very helpful. AAA estimated an extensive response time & said someone would call me back. No one did. The officer called Fat Boys tow service. They came in a reasonable time. Shane was the gentleman who was able to tow my van to nearby Firestone. He was also able to restore power enough for me to put the window up , secure the belongings I needed & lock it. Shane then waited for me to complete the info & drop the key & for my daughter to provide me a ride home. He was so very helpful and professional. It's a Holiday weekend, and I couldn't get an Uber, or a Cab. Tony, gave me a ride to the hotel in his personal vehicle. Cam, and Zach, treated me like a brother. And being on the road and stranded, that means a lot. My company got me a Rental.. and Kim Wood, sent someone to the shop so I could pick up my empty trailer. These People are Awesome, and treat Everyone with class,dignity and respect.”
