We stop every time we are working in Fincastle for lunch.And an incredible selection of spices and all other great things! “Very clean, all you need country store. Bit to eat, gas, ice cream, odds and ends nicely displayed. Big country porch to rest a minute on your travels!!! Gas cheaper compared to those around. Easy in and out.”
“A true neighborhood market. Abe and Chris are both just wonderful people and Abe always has your back. The customers are locals and become family after awhile. The tables here are the best in the area and given many of them a try. Head on in for cold beer, all your basic home needs, great selection on vapes and 2 fun fish tables.”

“I like this store as it has some items other stores don't some items are high priced others the same as others. It's always clean the staff friendly and helpful, which I love. It makes you feel like they really care about you and not just your money.”
“Good deals on steaks sometimes nice people working there. However I've noticed they have stopped carrying some things I normally buy. Not a big deal since I can go to Kroger anytime to get it, but I've learned to live without cause Kroger is expensive”
“Clean store with full shelves and variety of products. Not typically my go to shopping store due to prices being a bit higher than most, but you can't beat some of the weekly deals advertised. Staff was magnificent, helpful, and speedy.”
“Overall it's my last option but a good store. I'm predominantly a vegetarian and whether I'm trying to find something simple to pick up and eat from the freezer section there are limited options. Very few companies that I do regular business with are there which forces me to go to another grocery store. They're produce and fruit is fresh and the dairy section has the things that I need and is always well kept.

“This is a tiny store packed full of just about anything you can think of. Mostly Mexican but some other specialties. The aisles are very narrow so everything will fit. Friendly, but mostly Spanish speakers here so don't expect a lot of attention in English. Fresh foods and kept well stocked. A bit pricey but that's the price to pay to keep a small business in the city open and have these items available at all.”
“I go here mostly for gas fill ups. Usually very competitive pricing. Only issue is if you use debit card you pay 10 cent more per gallon at pump. A bummer there. Sometimes a short wait to get a lane available to fill up.”

“I could not get the pump to accept Kroger pay from my phone. I had no problem using Kroger pay inside the store. I ended up having to use a check at the fuel center, which meant that I could not fill up my car. Disappointing.”
“I've visited this adorable country store located right off Highway 81 near Troutville, Virginia many times. They have CLEAN gas pumps (believe it or not), and a terrific gift area, as well as the usual food, groceries and beverages. I've bought gifts for friends here for years thanks to the excellent variety of items procured by the owner. She always has some lovely serving pieces, placemats, napkins, cards, garden flags, and now, vintage kitchen, glassware, and gift pieces she's selected from antique stores. They have both seating indoors and on the porch. There's room to walk your dog and a special receptacle for poo bags. It's a place well worth stopping for.”
“Perfect for pedestrians, and surprisingly well-stocked with a variety of choices for its size.It lacks a hot bar, which is unsurprising, but it does have a ton of "grab & go" items, many of which (I imagine) are imported from the kitchen at the Grandin Co+op 2 miles away. Meanwhile, there are baked goods and produce, beverages galore, and plenty of grocery-store staples.The staff are uniformly excellent -- friendly and engaging. This is the ideal place for those occasions on which you need a snack, but don't feel good about it being Powerade and Fritos.”

“Great local grocer. Have many foods you don't commonly find. Chicken liver, freshly ground sausage, salt fish, whole hams, fresh local eggs. Best selection of flour and corn meal in the area. If you need something you can't find they will even order it special for you.”

“Friendly service that speaks English lots of tobacco products that she was from lots of drinks and snacks to choose from smoking paraphernalia and tobacco paraphernalia products there is no gas pump here it is not as great of a store as it was back in my youth before it was sold back then you could get fireworks and all sorts of goodies here it's pretty much standard store with your average needs for a convenience store”
