I’ve had the same mail man for years and he has now retired. I never had a problem with him. I am fed up with the new delivery person. Whoever is delivering my packages now will leave them away from my house in my yard! They also keep postponing my package delivery when I pay for fast shipping. I am beyond fed up because I never know when my package will be at my house or where it will be!!

I must say that the service and speed . And time of getting mail has greatly improved over the past 2 months. The new postmaster has really made a difference and nice personality.

Packages never come on time, get shoved into your mailbox where you have to force them out, get left in the rain when you have a porch with an awning but gets left on the stairs. Loses packages. Never dealt with a worse post office in my life

In the last year we have had a new mail carrier. Packages have been left on cars, stuffed in the mailbox where I had to pull the mailbox apart to get it out and tonight they were left on a pile of 2x4s on the side 9f my driveway. We did not have any problems until this last year.

The woman who works here in the service package has such a terrible attitude! if you ask a question she answers you so rudely, it was a lousy experience! Why do they put a woman with such a bad attitude to work in customer service here??

I very much appreciate our postal workers and our mail carriers. However, the lady behind the counter (as other recent reviews mentioned) is extremely rude.I now drive 10+ mins to mail my packages so she can’t infect me with her bad mood and lousy attitude.If she hates her job so much, she should just go do something else

The woman who is the main clerk at the customer desk is the worst ever. Not just once, but every time I go in the Blackstone Post Office, she has a bad attitude and spirit about her. Every time. Today, I picked up an electronic package and she literally shoved it at me. I have complained to other post offices in the area about her but nothing happens. A new postal delivery person on my home route every week. I have gone days without my mail getting to me. But NO ONE is doing anything about it. A pathetic post office with terrible leadership.

Nasty attitude from the person that takes in packages! She should not be working with the public. PERIOD. A person should not be made to feel bad for going into a business. Will NOT use this Post Office ever again.

You've got mail! The historic Federal Revival Blackstone post office located downtown on Main Street is actually larger than expected considering the size of this rural town. Built in 1940, its imposing brick facade, arched entryway with an eagle relief, reproduction vintage lampposts, and notable weathervane make for an striking effect. Inside, you can still see the antique brass post boxes and marble walls. Although I love the vintage feel of this post office, it could definitely use updated flooring and valances. It seemed a tad dingy in there. This post office serves about 7,200 residents in the Blackstone community. There's a ramp for easy access and plenty of parking. They are open for retail M-F 9:00-5:00, and Saturday 9:00-11:00, with the lobby open 24/7. The usual services are offered, however, no passport service. They just got their holidays stamps in, so stock up! And check out the vintage postcard once available in the Virginia Post Office series.
