We recently had to say an emotional and heart wrenching goodbye to our 12 year old yellow lab mix.
The tender care that your staff provided is greatly appreciated and we are most thankful. Your endless patience and understanding has helped us with our loss.

We have been going here for years. They are very friendly and knowledge, the staff is excellent at handling "high maintenance" animals. Everyone we have met here has always been professional and kind. Highly recommend!

They were so great to be able to take my cat in the same day due to a concerning eye injury, but were very quick in getting her records and getting her up to date with her shots. They were even able to answer all of my questions regarding treatments, costs, and insurance. They unfortunately have limited resources, but referred me directly to the Virginia Tech Animal Clinic and helped walk me through the process with them and to get set up with insurance they will take. Will likely be going back to get my baby's teeth cleaned and fixed once we get the okay from Virginia Tech vet cardiology. Truly professional compared to other vets I've been to in the NRV.

I cannot express enough how amazing the staff is here. If I could give a million stars I would. They helped take care of both of my dogs, including my best girl Sadie, who unfortunately passed away. Even while she was sick, they showered her with love and attention. The staff were so kind. The paw print I received with her ashes made my heart melt and cry happy tears. They are amazing.

Brought my dog in for a lump on his leg that was giving him trouble walking. After a short exam, the vet here concluded that it was cancerous, gave me instructions on monitoring his quality of life to decide whether/when to put him down, and sent me on my way with some painkillers. I took him to a different clinic for a second opinion and it turned out the lump was an abscess from a bacterial infection that burst while they were taking a biopsy. He was back to walking fine hours after that.
The fact that the vets here don't do something as simple as taking a biopsy and jump to the cancer conclusion is appalling, and I don't know if the problem is gross incompetence, complete indifference to their patients, or both. If I had listened to the vet here my healthy dog would probably be dead. I do not recommend bringing your animals here.

If I could give this business 100 stars I would. They love their jobs its extremly clear to see... I cannot say enough about my positive experiences here.
There is nothing more powerful than a team dedicated to treating not only the fur babies that enter with respect love and care but the fur parents as well. Thank you ladies more than you'll know ...

I love this place! I have two cats and took them here right when I got them, and we have been going ever since. They have always been extremely helpful and friendly. They take your concerns seriously and will get to the bottom of it. They are reasonably priced as well (not that you can put a price on your pets care)! Dr. Halkowich is super understanding and listens to all my concerns, even when I know they might sound silly. Joyce has also been so great at easing my worries as a first time cat owner. 10/10 would recommend :)

Outstanding customer service from the front desk, the veterinary assistants, and the veterinarian. Wait time upon arrival was minimal. Everyone carefully explained the procedures entailed. The paperwork was done via email making the process easy. The follow-up call was thorough.
