I have very mixed feelings about the Main & Henry Extended Stay, so I will simply include facts with my thoughts. When you first arrive, you will notice that the property is well maintained. Location is ideal, as it is convenient to the university and several of the stores/restaurants around the area. It is also convenient to highways into and out of town. Parking is a little strange. There are 2-3 spaces identified for each unit in the extended stay. However, parking seems to be a free for all. Basically everyone was parking in everyone else’s spot. If the small parking lot is full, you are able to park across and then walk across a busy highway next to the complex. It is right next to the busy street, so car noise was readily heard throughout my two week stay here. When you first walk into the unit, it appears very clean. The decor is very plain and rather bland. My opinion is that I have seen regular hotel rooms that are better decorated. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer, as well as a half bath right by the front door. The kitchen is a standard, small, apartment kitchen complete with dishes, silverware, etc. I noted that the kitchen had a mild odor from previous cooking, which I expected. What I didn’t expect was that when I pulled out some of the dishes, pans, and silverware from the cabinets, they all had old food stuck to them. So one of the first things I did was take them all out of the cabinets and run them through the dishwasher on high temperature. I also found where some of the odor was coming from. There is a dish drain pan next to the sink for after you wash the dishes. There was old food and what looked like gravy in the bottom of this that smelled pretty bad. There is no can opener in the kitchen. The dining area and living area is spacious and well lit. Both of these areas were nice. The internet here is abysmal. My laptop, iPad, cell phone often only had 1 bar and disconnected frequently making it very difficult to do any type of work online. Similarly, the cable TV service was very choppy. Trying to watch even the morning news was a challenge. To be fair, the owner let us all know via email that they were having issues and had the internet service out to fix it. The issues continued after that. They asked if they could access my room to address the router once and I told them that was fine. That being said, I think they believed that they could then come and go because there were a few times when I returned home to find a light switch on or off and not in the position where I left it or a TV on or off when I didn’t leave it that way. Upstairs there is a single bedroom and master bath with a stand up shower. Again, the decor is very plain. The room is spacious and fine for 1 or 2 people. The bed was actually comfortable. I washed all of the towels before use due to my previous encounter in the kitchen. There were long, brown hairs found all on the bathroom counter and short black hairs found more towards the back part. A dental floss pick was floating in the toilet. The water pressure here is terrible. It takes forever for the hot water to get to the shower and it is difficult to wash off due to the low pressure. In general, my stay was fine, but there were so many little things that it starts to eat at you over time. If I were staying 1 or 2 or 3 nights it probably wouldn’t have been bad. Staying there 2 weeks was rather bothersome. So for these reasons, I have to give it the two stars. I would probably consider a different extended stay if I ever had to return to this area again.

My husband stayed there on month basis, $1800. Paid this amount up front, he stayed only a week, was told he would get partial refund, 16 days later, after many messages left, and emails also, they won't answer my calls messages r
