Best hotel I've stayed at in the area hands down ??. Great customer service. The room was very clean and spacious. I absolutely loved the temperature of the pool. I will definitely be coming back to stay. I highly recommend ☺️

When they built this place they didn't use licensed plumbers. Sink Faucet in bathroom loose, shower pan cracked because it's plastic with no underlayment. Comfortable but soft bed, soft, sink in couch. Cabinet doors hard to close. Very good lighting, cold A/C.Nearby activities: Close Krogers

Stayed 2 nights to attend someone's graduation from Virginia Tech. Hotels in the area are price gouging, and Home2 is among the worst at around $600 per night. You'd think at those prices they'd have soap for the rooms. No soap of any kind in our room. No soap of any kind in the hotel as a whole when I asked at the front desk. Soap crisis was resolved by my walking to the nearby Kroger (as hotel staff should have done to buy all the bar soap for guests.). The sliding bathroom doors don't close all the way, which can make it awkward when in there for larger projects. But the hotel is new and nice otherwise.

Wonderful hotel! It was clean and the rooms were big! There is a nice kitchenette and lots of shelving space to store stuff. My only issue with the room was the bathroom barn-door style, but even that wasnt a big deal. The lobby was nice and everything was clean.Youre close to 2 nice shopping centers and gas stations. You could even technically walk to campus from the hotel. The hotel bar was nice and the employees were beyond friendly. They even have nice outdoor spaces.Would definitely stay here again.Rooms: Very clean, spacious, and lots of places to store items.Safety: VERY safe area

I drove up to Blacksburg after getting out of work at 11pm. It was 3.5 hour ride. I called ahead to make sure they knew I was arriving. I arrived exhausted from working and driving. I was on the third floor at the end. I got to my room the key did not work. Went all the way back down to desk to get a new key, that key did not work, had to go back down again. Finally, I made the desk attendant come open the door. The front desk attendant advised me the key software was not working and I would have to get up in the am to get a key. I want to bed about 330 am. I had to get up to get a key. The same thing happened in the am. I had to do two trips and then I told the attendant I was not going back down, to please figure it out. I had to stay up and wait till this was all figured out. Needless to say I barely got any sleep. I will say the breakfast was excellent. The staff was kind and respectful as well.Food & drinks: Breakfast was excellent. Good variety for those who are healthy eaters.

I spent 23 nights here in November and Dec of 2023. The stay was pleasant and clean. The rooms are very up to date and have plenty of room for long stays. I was able to move in and feel secure here. The staff was friendly and the laundry area is clean and easily accessible at the elevator. Good breakfast and good housekeeping staff made it truly comfortable. Thank you!

Clean relatively new product. Holy mackerel, Blacksburg room pricing is out of control. UPDATE - apparently short staffed. Checked in online with digital key hours before arrival. Room unavailable upon arrival (2 hours later than I said I would arrive). Desk reassigns room. Arrive at room and it is still being worked on by housekeeping. Back to desk for another assignment (which required the desk help to wander around the property to find an open & prepped room). Ugh.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and my experience was pretty nice, which is why I decided to try to make this my choice of hotel when I visit (a few times a year). However, I am not sure what happened... but it's just gone down hill... here is my recap.- Walk past the front desk in the morning- no interaction (not even a smile) from any staff member- Walk past the front desk in the afternoon- no interaction (not even a smile) from any staff member- Walk past the front desk at night- no interaction (not even a smile) from any staff member, but you may get a dirty look too- Check in to a clean room- nope- Share your concern about the dirty room? Get an attitude from the older lady- Get free water when you check in due to membership status ? Make sure you ask for it cause they will not give it willingly and then will give it to you with an attitude- Breakfast? Burnt sandwiches and things gone and not replaced by 830am- Pool towels? Nope- Hot water available in the lobby? Nope.- Free cookies? Nope.Now... did I talk to anyone at the front desk about my concerns? No. As you see... it's not as if there would have been anyone there that would have greeted a guest with any welcoming situation.Hopefully something is done, employees are trained, and this issue is resolved.Rooms: First room was dirty. Second room is okay. I find it strange that they leave all of the dishes in the dishwasher so if you are looking for something, even in a clean room, you have to rummage through a dishwasher.Walkability: There are some shops nearby that you can walk to.Food & drinks: I did not check out the bar because the hours are very limited. However, the breakfast was subpar, and any of the breakfast sandwiches are extremely hard due to being in the heater.Noteworthy details: Currently, there is zero customer service provided through our every department at this hotel.
