A whole crowd of our Family met up for a funeral, right in the middle of a big snowstorm. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful during our whole day, even with shortages of personnel and terrible weather conditions. A special thank you to Carrie, who watched over us and took care of everything we needed and more, and Cam, who cooked us wonderful food in our enforced “snow day.”

Stayed Christmas night. Overall, a good hotel for a one-night stay. Friendly staff, clean beds. However, the bathroom could use work. It was apparent that the area behind the toilet was not cleaned.

Truly Wheelchair accessible hotel rooms are hard to find. The Hilton Garden Inn in Blacksburg Virginia is exceptional. The room was totally accessible, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend adding the hot breakfast to your stay. Delicious and wonderful, attentive staff. We have stayed here twice and we will definitely be back again.

We didn’t get the package deal, which apparently doesn’t include the full breakfast. We went down for breakfast, grabbed food that looked like we were able to grab, and then charged $31. That charge came from bacon in which hair was all within, eggs that still had shell bits in it, and then potatoes. The potatoes were at least good. But two people getting charged $31 for just potatoes? I wish it was made more clear what came with the hotel, nobody had told us. We wouldn’t have eaten the breakfast here if we were going to pay for it.

I cannot express my gratitude enough! Thank you to General Manager, Brittany and her staff, Rhiannon, Tiffany, Austin, Bryan and the other wonderful team members. They made my extended stay great - felt right at home!
During my stay I noticed Brittany and her team invest so much of their time - covering the small and important details to welcome their guests. (Virginia Tech parents to other large groups that stay at this wonderful hotel.)
Location is great as well! Restaurants are nearby (not walking distance but bus stop is around the corner from the hotel.) If you stay long enough - explore the trails nearby (great for walking, jogging/running).

This was our first time in Blacksburg but not our first time at this hotel chain.
The service was outstanding from check in to checkout.
This is a location worth going a few minutes off 81to experience.
We will definitely stay here again during our travel from TN to Virginia

Whenever we return to Blacksburg…we always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn because it feels like our home away from home! We are greeted with hugs…warm cookies and warm smiles. Each day of my last 6 day stay..no matter who was on desk duty..I was asked if all was okay…if I needed anything..and the staff was happy to accommodate any request. My room was both comfortable and quiet.
Because of recent flooding, the hotel restaurant menu was limited..however the chef and the waitress and waiters bent over backwards to make my meals as tasty as they could.
Among others..thanks to Carrie..Tiffany..Brandon..Ashley..and Auston for outstanding service. Thanks to these folks and all others I didn’t name.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, providing the perfect environment for relaxation.
The service was top-notch throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any requests, making me feel right at home. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests' comfort.
The meals were another highlight—both breakfast and dinner were delicious and offered a variety of options.
The hotel's location was ideal, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Whether I wanted to check out nearby attractions or just enjoy a quiet evening stroll, everything was conveniently close.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-serviced, and ideally located place to stay.

This place was so amazing they let us get a room even tho they were full we got lucky since someone didn't show up. The front desk lady even made us a bag full of goodies and wrote a note saying hope your guys trip goes well.
