Foxridge Collegiate Apartments offer a comfortable residence for students, located close to Virginia Tech with good transportation and stores for basic needs. The community is away from downtown noise but remains near sought-after locations. Many residents appreciate the maintenance crew, who are described as very helpful, efficient, respectful, and skilled. They work to improve the apartment complex and grounds, often addressing requests or emergencies the same day, with one very early morning repair noted as particularly impressive. However, some residents report dissatisfaction with maintenance work and staff response. Specific complaints include a poorly fixed bathroom fan that shakes and makes noise, an unresolved kitchen sink leak that destroyed a cabinet, and loose carpeting. Despite these issues, long-term residents highlight the reliable maintenance as a key reason for returning, doubting any local complex does a better job of caring for the grounds and buildings.
I like this place since its close to VT, have good transportation and stores for basic needs. I also like Madison since she is very patient in answering all my questions. We really hope that our twins can stay here next year.
