“Local goodwill at Blacksburg, VA a not-for-profits organization. Very friendly stuff. Just beside food lion.Goodwill was founded in Boston by Reverend Edgar J. Helms, a Methodist minister and early social innovator. Helms created the Goodwill philosophy of “not charity, but a chance” when he collected used household goods and clothing in wealthier areas of the city, then trained and hired people who were poor to mend and repair the used goods. The goods were then sold or given to the people who repaired them. More than 118 years later, Goodwill remains in it's missions.”

“Blacksburg is a small town in Virginia. Home to the Virginia Tech Hokies!! Virginia Tech buildings line the sidewalk on College street, across from a wide variety of food establishments. You can really spend a good portion of a day browsing the shops, art galleries, and pubs. Blacksburg is very proud of its' downtown community. If you are in the area, be sure to take some time to look around and try a delicious meal at one of the restaurants. Please hit the like button if you've found this review helpful. Thanks!”
