Cashier Kevin was extremely rude. Sorry to inconvenience him while he’s at work asking him to do things that are in his job requirement.

This post office has some of the worst carriers. My wife worked for the post office and has witnessed some of the worst. I had a post office box in Stephenson, VA and never had a problem. If my letter a a typo or one number wrong the Stephenson post office made sure I got it. Not the Berryville post office. It could have my name and a couple numbers off and they send it back that day. No attempt and the carrier knows my name. It has the correct street but she don't care! She is a vindictive carrier and the worst. From day one the postmaster and the carrier made my family their victim and still after over 2 years she wont let up. Worst nightmare ever. She sent a bunch of my Christmas present back that day. Had my name on them but a number off. Nightmare. So much for small town kindness. Sure to miss Stephenson and the best manager and staff ever!!!

This post office is such a pain all because of one woman! Every time I come in she complians that my package or envelope isn't correct, it's too round, the name isn't written out in the correct format, the wrong label is used, ect. Any time I successfully manage to mail a package (about 10% of the time) I file a complaint. Since she's been there so long this is useless, but hopefully goes in her retirement file. The day she leaves will be a town celebration.

I've always loved the service I've received at this post office for several years but this last year with new hires, I'm thinking about moving my PO Box to another post office. New hire is very rude.

I went several times to this PO. Theresa, the woman who is in the front desk always have an attitude, each time, same attitude: very bossy, interrumps all the time, the worst. My very important documents with a dead line were sent internationally and takes forever to get destination (because tomorrow will be 2 weeks!!! for an express usps service, between3-5 Bussines days). When I asked an explanation, this lady is always in a rush and she just hang the phone. Even adults working for years in the USPS front desk must to know customer service.

The young lady who helped me was super friendly and seemed to want nothing more than to help me do what I needed to do. It’s a simple thing, but it makes a difference and, from one public servant to another, I appreciate it very much.

Small PO but the postmaster there is very helpful and just a nice person. It is so small only one person can go inside the inner door, the rest wait in the slightly bigger area where mailboxes are- but who cares when you have such nice service.

Service was honestly the worst I think the manager needs to work on there attitude and how they treat others because I’ve never seen someone who is this idiotic in my life. Worst place I’ve ever been to. NEVER AGAIN.

Counter service is always reliable. This is the classic prototypical small-town post office, built in 1938 to 1939. Interior woodwork, brass, and other elements have been preserved and reflect the Federalist style and architecture of its time. Includes a "New Deal Art" mural. Very good service and friendly people. Excellent resource.

Berryville is another small town near Winchester, VA, with a fascinating history. This stately brick post office was originally built in 1939 and has been refurbished, keeping the integrity of the period in mind. Some of the deterioration of the crown moulding on the outside of the structure had to be specially crafted to match the rest of the authentic moulding. Inside there are many original brass fixtures and mail slots, post boxes, wooden doors, desks and podiums. One unique feature of this post office is the huge mural of Clifton farm painted by a local artist of that period, E.S. Lewis. Dubbed "New Deal Art" from1939, as Franklin Roosevelt's effort to end the Great Depression, it's one of only 2 murals of its kind in the area. A plaque dedicating the building is displayed next to the post office counter. A knowledgeable and friendly postal worker informed me of the historic value of this post office! I not only got a history lesson, but was able to admire the lovely brick and wrought iron architectural aspects of this pristine post office. Hours 9:00-5:00 M-F, 9:00-12:30 Sat.
