Company does not return repeated calls for damage done. This moving company broke an item in the house I purchased last month. All phone calls, emails, and attempts at communication have elicited zero responses. Don't trust them - and believe me when I tell you they will not return your call(s) if there's an issue....

These guys did a great job moving me from Reston, VA to the West Virginia panhandle. They showed up right on schedule, quickly and efficiently packed everything and moved my belongings with care. Everything arrived in exactly the same condition as it left in. Pricing was very competitive and fair and I'm very pleased with how the job went. The team was fantastic as well! Everyone was super friendly and the overall experience was great - if you're lucky enough to get Richie, Chris, Dekari, Jeremy, and Trent on your job, you'll be in great hands!

Should be a zero. Contacted them to move my furniture via Yelp. Agreed upon a rate - they never sent a confirmation email or attempted to honor their rate after I called twice. Update: The manager immediately jumped on this review. I'm going to expand on it more: Got bids from 4 moving companies for a bedroom set, couch and up to 10 boxes (boxes were 1-10 on the Yelp form). This place was $125-$175 cheaper than everyone else. That equates to ~30% off of the others. I made the deal via Yelp 10/7 for a 11/3 move. No rate sheet sent. Double checked the messages, gave the correct phone/email address. Reached out via Yelp 10/8 - no response. Hounded this company the following week with multiple calls to hear "I'll send it when I get back to the office". Nothing. Kept checking my inbox & spam - nothing. Booked my move with another company and got moved. To me, sounds like this place underbid and bailed on a potential customer.

Don’t trust this company with your cross country move. It was all down hill after I received the estimate. (Turns out they’re not even licensed to move people cross country and I didnt do my research) Don’t trust their estimator who couldn’t give a call back once I gave them our business. A company I never heard of showed up on moving day knowing NOTHING we discussed at Our walkthrough. Had to sell 2 expensive safes they could not move because the movers that showed up weren’t prepared. The movers that showed up weren’t prepared for the long driveway and couldn’t get the truck up the driveway. Lots of promises and no delivery. Never even the courtesy of calls back. I wouldn’t trust them to move me across the street!

This review is long overdue, since we had Lloyd's move us from one state to another in June 2017, but better late than never. First of all, whoever is in charge of hiring at Lloyd's should get a gold star. Everyone we dealt with - from Reuben the salesman who came out to do our inventory and provide us with a bid, to the packers, to the moving teams, to Joe the office manager/claims guy - were unfailingly pleasant, efficient, and professional. Reuben painstakingly reviewed everything with us, because I told him we'd had a bad moving experience before. When our move schedule changed during their busiest season, Reuben somehow pulled a rabbit out of his hat and accommodated us. The packers were on time and never lost their good mood and careful approach during DAYS of brutal packing. The movers who packed us up had non-stop energy during the all day process of getting our goods onto the trucks. The delivery movers were incredible, even with some unexpected challenges. The driver walked over a MILE in blistering heat to our home in a gated community to get the gate code so the trucks could make our delivery (the office had forgotten to give it to them, along with our cell numbers - their office had been incredibly efficient up until then, so this was a one-off glitch, from our perspective). The delivery crew worked in that same blistering heat to unload all of our household goods They never lost their good humor and care for our items, even though both our entrances required them to use stairs, and one of them required them to walk up a gravel road on a steep incline to get to the other entrance (before encountering more stairs). Joe the office manager/claims guy could not have been more patient and professional with me, and took time to walk me through the ins and outs of their claims process. Lloyds was not the cheapest bid we had for our move, but they were also not the most expensive. I can't imagine that we would've gotten better service, even if we'd gone with one of the more expensive companies (there were two). I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, if I was still in their service area.

We used Lloyd's for a local move to a larger house. Having never used professional movers before, we weren't certain what to expect, but the process went well. The movers were all friendly and introduced themselves to us, which helped us feel safe, especially with our kids around. They worked quickly, padded everything well, and worked to get our things into our new home where we wanted them, despite some challenging home angles to work around. Moving is a stressful event, but Lloyd's Transfer & Storage helped ease some of the burden. We'd like to thank Richard W., Aaron G., Trent R., Jeremy, Hunter F., and Tia A. for all their hard work. We hope to not have to move again for a long time, but I would be happy to use them again if needed.

The crew was caring and careful. They were very friendly, and they worked quickly but didn't damage anything. I would highly recommend them!
