Taking donations to Blue Ridge Thrift Shop couldn't be easier. Pull up to the back loading dock and they will help you unload it and you don't have to make an appointment!

Wide selection of household & clothing gently used items. For a good cause. Rewards card option is a plus for added savings.

This is a cute thrift store and is neat, but extremely overpriced. (Purcellville, VA location) It's sad how people take advantage of those wanting to help poorer people by donating their nice things and then the managers of the place charge top dollar for the FREE items. What a rip off! Remember, these are mostly used items and sometimes the way they are priced you would do better at TJMaxx. To pay 3$ for a used mug, or 25$ for a used purse is just too much! What the world is coming to is such a shame. Thrift stores are supposed to be for people who can't afford to shop at name brand stores.

Pros: Lovely things at this store. Its organized well. Prices are ok--good sales.Cons: Customer engagement could improve. During checkout, I observed two women at the register making self-deprecating and unnecessary commentary referencing items for sale or items belonging to customers checking out. They said to a woman "Oh you are small so you can wear this. If I wore it, I would look like an elephant." The whole exchange was cringeworthy. I also felt like they were inadvertently skinny shaming the customer. When I went up, a similar exchange on what I was purchasing happened, except it was assumed that I wasnt buying clothes for myself (based off of how I looked to the cashier and the sizes/item types of what I purchased). Point blank, doing an analysis on people's orders and inserting personal body image issues is very off-putting and unprofessional. Its important to remember that the goal of the charity shop is to sell donated items to raise money for hospice.

One of the best organized and clean thrift stores we've ever seen. Everything is laid out in an eye catching, beautiful manner. So many different things to look at from home decor to clothing. We left with a cart full of great items. You're sure to find plenty of things you just can't live without too.

Prices keep going up and up here... would pay MUCH less at just a regular store shopping the sales. Saw sneakers for $20-30 and sweaters from $15-$30 when I was in there the other day. This is for USED items! It blows my mind! It used to be better but I don't know who is doing the pricing now... Everything is much too expensive for used items that don't have tags on them or anything. Even kids cat&jack t-shirts are the same price I pay for them NEW at Target. You expect 50% or more off retail prices but that's definitely not what you find here.

This thrift store is a gem! This Blue Ridge Hospice location is particularly good for houseware items. As with any thrift store it’s a hit or miss depending on donated items however I usually find something I ‘need’ to purchase.? Be sure to ask about their silent auction items!!

Very nice, compact thrift store with items well above the average. Not the largest store we've been in, but their selection of furniture was high-end and well above your general Goodwill-type of quality level. The store is very well organized and very clean. Friendly staff is helpful and attentive. We found several bargains, all at delightfully low prices. We highly recommend.

This review is for the new location next to the Dollar Store. It's such a drastic change from the previous location that I decided to leave an update for those wondering about the new one. Don't waste your time! Several of the new employees are rude, they are seen constantly shopping around while they're on the clock, the merchandise which was always abundant in the older store is very picked over here and priced high. This chain is wonderful, but something is up with this one. I recommend skipping it, and trying the others in the area. It's not worth the trip.

The two women working in this store are outright rude and disrespectful. They didnt bother to speak to us when we came in, nor acknowledged us when we attempted to ask a question. The ladies continued their conversations with one another and played on their cellphones. We left and will never return.
