“Cannot say enough good things about this place. All of their food is delicious. Recently tried the greek fies for the first time and can't wait to go back for a second. I always pick up the orzo, chick pea salad, greek potato salad, and either a kale or greek salad. Takes us a couple days to finish it all. I am completely addicted?”
“Amazing shop. I was visiting Richmond for a mountain bike event and blew up my derailleur. 5 hour drive was almost for nothing. Their mechanic Jake dropped what he was doing and promptly hooked my injured bike up with a fresh upgrade on the spot. I was back on the trail mad fast and my trip was saved. The repair was perfect and the vibe of this shop was rad.”

“Unbelievably low prices. I like corned beef brisket a brisket that would have cost $60 at a neighboring also favorite grocery of mine only cost $24 at Aldi. One thing that is an issue there is no handicapped electric cart for those with difficulty walking such as myself. Plus there are no shopping bags if you don't bring your own you're carrying your stuff out in your arms. So you must always carry a bag with you. And that is not any inconvenience. I view that as part of why their prices are so low.”

“Was in the neighborhood leaving Plant House across the street and was curious what this small grocery store had. Well, to me and my boyfriend’s surprise they had hot food and some really good options might I add. We got 2 sandwiches, fries, and cake. Everything was fantastic and not a long wait either. This will definitely be a new spot for us! So good and we will most definitely have to try their restaurant”
“Stella’s has great food - their salmon is the best in Richmond. They always do a excellent job with their catering, but this time they misplaced part of my order. But they did such an over-the-top job of making it right, I almost wish they would mess up more often! The store manager came all the way out to my house to deliver the part of the order they lost and brought a delicious loaf of their bread as well to compensate. Thank you, Stella’s!”

“A different layout but familiar finds. Associates were very helpful and friendly. Carytown is memorable for great shopping when I lived in Richmond in the 90s. Glad to see changes that keep it that way. Nice store.”
“Naturally as my neighborhood corner I go here quite often. The cashiers are usually very friendly and remember you when you come in. The only reason this is 4 stars is that even though they have an expansive beer selection, the mark up is ridiculous. Wine is very fairly priced though!”
“Just walked in for the first time today. The owner and her staff were so kind, warm and engaging! The produce was priced very well. They carry a selection of meats, pastas, seasonings, etc. specifically Sauers seasonings - which have probably been sold in markets along this strip for the past 100 years. It’s a huge blessing to have this convenient little market right in our neighborhood.
I was ecstatic to find wild pear kombucha from blue ridge Bucha. I used to buy cases of wild pear kombucha from Aldi’s, but they stopped carrying it! I hope that she’ll continue carrying it!”
“I love this place! I go there only to buy meats. They have the best prices on chicken, steaks, turkey wings & beef ribs. I am in my 40’s & I have been going to this supermarket since i was 16 years old. The meats are always fresh & packaged with care. I have compared their prices to several different grocers & I have not found any grocer in town that can beat their prices on meats. The staff is always friendly & very helpful. I also love that they have security in the store.”

“Mostly overpriced food, tbh. And some of the same "baked goods" I see in bulk at Costco; same brand. They aren't the TJs I remember. They have a few specific snacks only they have, so I still go occasionally. It's not bad at all. I just won't be buying much.”
