#1399 Walmart Automotive care in bedford Va has the worst customer service and rudest business practices I have everseen!!! They ran one of the best workers off about 2 weeks ago. And his name was Thomas L.
And I went back on this past Sat August 10, 2024. And the Automotive Manger was very rude and not professional! Everytime I go over there it's like a complete zoo! And Thomas L was the only way showed respect and professionalism. This time the Autocare Manager was a total joke. Everyone knows it's Walmart Automotive policy to put plastic over the seats and floor board. And he didn't put any on ny seats nor floor board. He got grease all over my seat covers and in my floor board. And didn't even the respect to apologize nor try to clean it up! And didn't check my air in my tires after asking him 3 times. Then as I left he drove my truck out of the back door. It got a metal screw in my tire. Where they are working on the roof. And I went back in to show him and to remove it. He acted like it was my fault! And when I ask him to remove it out of my tire. And I ask to put air in my tire. And he had a problem with that as well. And I have a complete problem with that. This guy shouldn't be the manager! Nor in any lead position! And he should me demoted and fired!!! His people skills are very poor and he has no communication skills!!!! And I am going to report him to corporate and the BBB.
Walmart owes me am apology and I want 2 free oil changes with the chassis greased for free!!! After the rudeness and hatefulness. Plus he riuned my seat cover with all of the grease he put on it. And I had to replace it! I want this huge mistake fixed!!!! This is no joke !!!! I want it fixed asap!!!

The 2 lady’s at the self checkout was Very Very NICE! This is the first Walmart that I have visited and they didn’t make me feel odd. The store was clean and quiet. I will most definitely be back. Thanks guys. I also gave a 5 Star at the kiosk at checkout.

I order tires and made an appointment for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. My son and I took the car in early for a drop off and did some shopping and went home. At 12:30 we got texted that the car was already finished, a half hour before the original scheduled time. Great job y'all. You saved us a bunch of time on a Saturday when we didn't expect to have to get tires.

Decent prices. The produce section is hit or miss. Sometimes most of the produce is smelly and rotten. The shelves are not stocked frequently and I have to go other places for what I need. Some items are now locked up and it’s hard to get what you need when you’re full-on grocery shopping. For example, the nail clippers are locked and you need walk to the customer service desk for help and then they walk you straight to the register, carrying the item. If I see an item I need is locked, I go somewhere else to purchase. Just too much of a hassle to go through that. Some of the staff are friendly, some not so much, and others stand around in groups talking loudly and acting unprofessional. The shopping carts need to be fixed or replaced as most are hard to push. What happened to the small carts?? I won’t go to automotive after the unprofessional experience we had talking with a manager to try to get tires mounted and balance. We ended up going somewhere else. This store has potential for the area it’s in, it’s just a shame.
