Don't have " customer care" service when you don't care. Wait was 1 one minute, hung up after 15 minutes. No they don't call you back if you press 1. Terrible service, false statement. You are not "tied up" with other customers. You just don't have any customer service.

For the third time, I have arrived to a Shentel location with posted open/closed hours to find them closed when they should be there. Unacceptable. Now I have to wait 5 days until a tech can get out to my house to bring me a new modem.

Everyone at this company is a joke. Been waiting on them to set up our internet for well over 3 months now. Called again yesterday and they said there was no work order even put in for it, even though we’ve been calling once a week for months. They are a bunch of liars and I would get internet through any other company if you have other options.

The internet itself is fantastic. That is, when it's not completely out. Constant random outages. Would not trust this service if I worked from home, as it could be out for hours. To put it into perspective, about once a week you won't have internet for a couples hours in the middle of the day.

Whenever I have to make a correction to my billing or service I try to go to this building. I've always received excellent customer service here. I've never been pushed away or treated like a number. It's always a friendly smile, greeting, and a solution to my questions.

Today is the third day this month that the shentel service has had an unexpected outage. The two prior outages were for multiple hours and as the phone reps never have an eta I assume that will again be the case. Nothing like risking work from home employment due to poor infrastructure. On the upside... at least the service is competitively priced... OH WAIT.. it's basically double of Cox's prices in roanoke.. and dont look at their OWN prices for their subsidiary Glofiber as you might just shed a tear. The sad part is I literally paid for service at my new residence to them today because... I have no choice. God bless america. Your phone reps are underpaid (12/hour work from home? Lol) and undertrained. Should swap the hand sanitizer in the office to KY so customers walk in the door fully prepared.
Edit: service remained down until afternoon the following day. My personal 8-10 AM scheduled install at a different location began promptly... at 130pm. Spent probably close to 4 hours on the phone that day with 7+ agents and supervisors. Massive clusterfk is an understatement. If you're viewing this I'd say avoid the company but you probably are screwed and have no choice. Grab your ankles and breathe deep my friend. Even if your experience isn't as nightmarish as mine just know that you still won't feel any better even if they give you $100 in credits.
