I stopped in seeing the Clearance Sale sign. I was looking at an empty shelf where storage bins were... on sale. I ask a worker stocking shelves about the empty shelf, he was very friendly and honestly wanted to help, but none available. To help me out he gave me a great discount on other storage bins. According to the receipt his name was Tim, though he did say he was the manager. Gotta give the guy some credit for going above and beyond. These days customer services is fading away, it refreshing seeing that there is still hope in people such as Tim the manager. Thank you for making my day a lot brighter!!

I went in the dollar general today in Westgate shopping center.the young lady that was a cashier wasn't doing her job.she was on the phone having a very heated conversation with someone else on the phone.while trying to do her job as a cashier. Very inappropriated!

I placed an pick up order and I'm guessing instead of them collecting the order they cancelled it so they wouldn't have to do it. First they sent me a notification saying the order was going to be late. When I called to find out why the order was cancelled, first they said they don't do pick up orders and then the story changed and they said they didn't receive notification of the order. Blue ridge Avenue dollar general really must think their customers are idiots. I never had this problem with the the Dollar General on Longwood.

Good times indeed. Went there to drop off a fed ex package and ended up staying and accruing just enough stuff to leave with a 5' long receipt. Now I gotta carve out a place at my house to put all this stuff. Lol

I will not be shopping at the DG on blue ridge ave. with the exception of a few they are rude . I love the store on Longwood the customer service and selection is so much nicer and it has a great atmosphere.

I stop in here for lots of things, gardening supplies, pots, great selection of grocery items too at a good price!
