My card never works in different states. Their hours are terrible. Service is unreliable. Absolutely switching banks. The Fauquier Bank was muuuch better than terrible VNB

Worthless Bank not even open on weekends you can't make direct deposits on weekends you can't access your safety deposit box on weekends you can't get any large amounts of money it's just a worthless Bank

Avoid this bank. They botched the takeover of my bank and I wish i had switched to another bank. Their policies are not customer friendly. I will be switching banks which says something based on the hassle of changing direct deposits and withdrawals.

This bank is awful since Virginia National took over, Theyno longer have Saturday hours, All the other branches closeat 6:00pm. Friday the teller allowed a vehicle to block one drive thru so the 5 occupants could do there transactions at the window closest to the building. Only after I raised hell was I able to get my transaction taken care of. I will be closing my accountas soon as my online bill pays are set up

The website says exceptional customer service. Closed on Saturdays is not exceptional service. Ever sense they took over Fauquier Bank it’s been all downhill

Worst takeover/corporate change ever. Customer service was thrown out with the old name. Employees look like they're working in their pajamas, when the lobby is open.

I had fraudulent charges in FLORIDA and they never called me to inform me of these, luckily I discovered them on my own. After this it took them a month to get my new debit card to me (they said my voice mailbox was full but I never had a missed call, and the "alternate number" on my account is one I did not even recognize.) I literally came in to withdraw money because I told them I was waiting on the debit card and they still did not give me the debit card. This wasn't the worst of my problems. I would NEVER get a loan through Fauquier bank after how painstaking, slow, and unprofessional the process was. I wouldn't ask Mike Patterson to take handle more than basic transactions unless you want to be strung along, given one form at a time, given very little information, and then ending up having to RESUBMIT the information AGAIN to the branch manager. It took my girlfriend 3 weeks to get approved, for a car she had half the money for. They told us half way through the application that we needed to put down more money, and get more info, and sign more forms. If they gave us this information UP FRONT we wouldn't have had to leave work early, drive all across Fauquier county and waste gas, just to be told the piece of information would take 4 hours to proccess, and that we needed to get more information/forms signed. We were told at the beginning of the month that we had a meeting with the branch manager at Wednesday at 3 pm. We showed up at 2:30 pm, and were told she was at another branch and was at lunch, and we were given a shrug as an answer to when we could see the branch manager (we never did). Chances are if we met with the branch manager we would have been able to get more information, and made the process more efficient. Yet, we were never given that opportunity. Then when we finally get the loan secured, they put the paper work in her face and ask her to sign it all before letting her read the terms. I actually had to stop the process and ask if we could read the terms before signing away two years and thousands of dollars away. They also added on fees without saying anything (I understand fees are normal but in a transaction involving thousands of dollars a couple details would be helpful) The process was unneccesarily stressful and drawn out, and at no point did we feel they cared about the quality of service. The Fauquier Bank and Mike Patterson may not care about our time and money, but we do. Sadly I have had decent service with this branch before but it seems they cannot efficiently handle more than a free checking account. I will most likely be closing my account soon and moving to another bank.
