What a disappointment to check their website, call a few times with no answer and then drive to Fredericksburg, because Milky Wave is only open on weekends, only to find NOTHING at the 5929 Plank Rd address!5 shacks and a short dirt rd.You can buy seafood and SHRIMP from small building or a food truck.No Milky Wave Tie Dye shop. A Nu Wave Embroidery shop that was closed.2 pm Saturday.DO NOT GO TO THE SHOP.THE POSTED PICTURES AREN'T CURRENT.THE SCHEDULED HOURS AREN'T CURRENT.

For the last 10 years I have always wanted to stop and check out their selection of Tie Dye and today we finally had the chance. We had an amazing time and were amazed at how beautiful everything was. We will definitely be stopping back very soon!

I have owned this tapestry for 8 years now and it looks just as vibrant as the day I got it from arguably one of the most skilled artists I’ve seen with textiles. As a Virginian I can attest that you cannot fully experience this state without stopping by Milky Wave. Laz has mastered making fun and colorful wearable artwork for more than the core demographic which tie dye conventionally applies. I enthusiastically recommend his shop when asked about one of my many pieces from him.

The beautiful artistic tie dyes. The colors and patterns are far out man!!! I wish I lived nearby because I could shop with them and see the stuff first hand. Bought an incredible wall hanging and I just love it. In my home it is still the 60's and the same goes for Milky Wave Tie Dye!!!
