  Carter is a lifetime free checking bank. I've banked with them for 40 years. I've never had any issues with service and the tellers at the Bassett branch where I do most of my banking are always polite and outgoing.Also any questions I have they are always happy to take the time when helping.

  I've been with Carter Bank & Trust around 35 yrs with no major issues. Just wish we were provided with an ATM to withdraw and deposit after business hours. ?
