Recruiter Sharell and Trainer Wilber were good at their jobs. Was hired to do a dedicated run the trainer was training 3 guys the first week I was there on two different style trailers. Out of 3 weeks there only had one day that I was on the yard and that was my first day. Every day after had runs attached to them not training runs. Runs that involved 14-16hr days while only making $150 an hour. They also switched the trailer I was learning on to another trailer that I’ve never operated due to another employee saying what they weren’t going to do so I was told to learn the trailer. Was told after my first week I may need to go to Florida to help trainer bring new trucks up to Richmond. The last week I worked there on Friday I was told they need us to get the trucks picked up by Monday after I said I can’t do it I have plans and that’s too last notice. I was told it needs to get done. Insurance is extremely expensive for a family plan anywhere from a $1000-1480.The training period is all over the place, no specific training program for new drivers other than be ready to go with your trainer. The drivers I’ve met were cool guys. But it is the most unorganized training I’ve experienced along with lack of communication from management. Unless you are single I wouldn’t recommend this for a family without a detailed training program first.

Sweetie Boy doesn’t pay its invoices. You have to call the brokerage/dispatch department and they will tell you they need to get in touch with accounting. They’ve been giving me the run around since 4/21/22 and I’ve been told now for several months the checks in the mail. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU ENJOY WORKING FOR FREE

I could not think of a worse company to call for a tow besides calling 2 of my hill billy cousins to pull my car down the road, I was in an accident with another car so he had to tow both of us, and he had to tow my car with me sitting in it because he doesn't allow passengers in the car (company policy), after driving around aimlessly in Ashland for about 25 minutes after telling me his plan was to drop off at the Wawa down the road (where I told my ride to wait), then decided it would be better to just go to the sweetie boy locations itself! I cannot speak to the driver so I have absolutely no clue where we are going so I had to wait to get where we were going before I could tell my ride where I was! A week later I found out my car was totaled (The same one they dragged me behind the tow truck in because the top of the tow truck had the other car on it) so when I went to pick up my key it took about 40 minutes for them to not only find the key, but also find the car itself to grab my belongings! they had no idea where it was because "people move things all the time". The amount of communication the employees have with each other you would think they just started working together 30 minutes ago, speaking of which my tow driver QUIT in that week span so they couldn't even contact him!! They are so disorganized that if you told me it was ran by 4 toddlers stacked on top of each other in a trench coat I would believe you. 0 Stars

I am still employed with this company a year later and I love everything about this experience! My hub manger Zach and just the crew in general at the bwi hub go above and beyond to make sure all my accommodations are meet between my home and work balance! The job is straight forward! Different cars from state to state and and road trip every day everything I could ask for in a job! Communication is their stand by motto! And respect is always giving! I recommend this job to anyone looking to explore near by states! The pay is all in how much you are willing to do! And I love a challenge! So if I want to make a little more a certain day then I know I can ask for more runs! Always cool to see what I will be driving as well!

Got hired on Sept 6 asked for a offer letter in writing so I could put my two weeks in with my current employer, Mitchell refused said I needed to join an online orientation by Thursday. When I told him I didn't have internet or a smartphone and requested an alternative way such as in person orientation, he fired me via email. Stay away if your over 40 and don't have all the technology. Currently filing a complaint with EEOC.
