While the facility itself is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, I CANNOT say enough good about Marlo my personal trainer at the Y. Marlo is not only knowledgeable, but listens and was able to easily adapt and develop a workout routine that did not worsen my long term injuries and helped me meet my goals. I HIGHLY recommend not only the Y BUT working with Marlo!

Variety of equipment and very friendly front desk staff. Limited hours and lack of communication about hour changes online and through app are disappointing.

The Y in Ashland is a 10/10. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The equipment is very well maintained. I would recommend to anyone!

Decent facility and exercise equipment. It could have a bit more stuff though. I can see where they might need to expand the fitness center in the coming years. Only 2 squat racks and 2 bench press benches. One is usually open to use though. The bench press benches are too close together. There should be more equipment for the price. I only go because some relatives go there. They also failed to update that childcare would close early on Halloween causing the same relatives to waste a drive.

Great facilities-- always clean and well kept, with up to date equipment. Everyone is friendly and courteous. This is a great environment for every member of the family for exercise and keeping fit.

We loved using the pool and the sauna. The employees at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful, assisting us in setting up our new family membership. The lifeguard was also very friendly and helped my daughters feel at ease when performing the swim test. The Patrick Henry Y seems to be a gold mine of wonderful employees!

The basketball courts are always being reserved for stuff. It's hard to come during a time when they're actually open.

We had our first baby swim lessons here with our little one. Very easy to sign up and everybody was very friendly.

There is no camera at the parking lot and people's car being broken into and stolen their belongings. I just lost my wallet and a lot of items, plus I have to get my windows fixed out of pocket.

Staff in reception was very friendly and waiting to help.. Relatively small YMCA but equipped with some work out machines which are not available in others

I actually haven't attended a single class or program. I just enjoy the gym itself. It has enough weights, benches, and exercise equipment so that I'm rarely waiting on equipment.

At 4:25pm on 3/4/23, I was getting my daughter out of the pool, I witnessed a young man, in his twenties and clearly mentally disturbed, attempt to assault an older man. The older man went to the front desk to inform the employee, a short-haired white lady. Instead of addressing the issue, she went in to chat with the person, calling him 'Mathew'. This neglect of duty was particularly concerning as there was a sign on the door warning against pouring water onto the electric rocks in the sauna. As a woman working as a paralegal at a law firm, I am familiar with liabilities and how lawsuits occur, and I felt compelled to leave some feedback on the situation.
