I went back and forth about using House Doctors due to mixed reviews on google, however they did get great feedback on Angie's List, which is how I found them. I reached out to several companies and Dennis responded right away. He showed up on time and did a thorough assessment. He came back for a second visit to ensure we discussed all the project details before I signed a contract. They worked quickly and did a good job, so overall I was pleased. I did see a couple areas that need a bit more attention, but the team circled back to fix them immediately upon my call even after the job was completely paid in full.

Mr. Hatcher came to my condo on 1/19/22 to look at the work I needed and said he'd email his estimate the next day. But he sent the wrong estimate, which I promptly pointed out and for which he thanked me. I followed up on 1/21/22 thinking something fell through the cracks, but I never heard another word. No response is sooooooo unprofessional!

Mr Hatcher was very professional prior to the first payment was received. Then I couldn’t get him to come out to see the quality of work I was receiving. He even tried to blame me for using 3 different colors, which I shared and purchased before he was hired. The painters were nice, however, not high quality professional painters I was promised by Mr Hatcher. One of two painters even stated that he was not a painter. Dennis Hatcher explained he had to pay higher salaries to keep high quality painters (which accounted for his prices being higher). He even stated that his workers were licensed professionals and not “a bunch of Mexicans”. The quality of painters was less than satisfactory, and I had to have them come back and fix errors, touch up, clean up, etc., multiple times. This was only ONE room. Do not use Dennis Hatcher for painting jobs. I cannot attest to the other services. I was extremely disappointed with Dennis Hatcher, as he presented a false resume of his services to get the job. Once payment received, he did not care about the customer, and was not seen again.Service: Interior decorating

House Doctors, more like House disasters. We hired them to fix some wood rot nears door. They left with the work ruined, the door in worse shape then when they started and told us, we would need a new door. Filled their mistake with putty that didn't stay. They also did some painting which was ok. A month later we found someone to fix the door right and they were amazed at the poor work House Disasters did. Stay away. I can not recommend!

Mr. Hatcher and his team were very skilled, dependable, and time efficient. They repaired the stairs and rails of our porch, complete with painting and staining for our porch and deck. This was not an easy job, but these guys got it down...all at a good cost! Very pleased with their quality and skills!Services: Painting

Replaced windows in my house. Many mistakes were made during the ordering process. When trim was replaced around the window, the old trim, which they damaged, was put back up. They didn't clean up they're mess either.

I asked for an estimate for repairs of my gate hinges and some boards in my fence. Not only was their hourly rate EXTREMELY high, they also charge $45/hour for "helpers". It's had for me to believe that it would take 1.5 hours to install three hinges on a gate and an additional 2 hours to repair 5 boards on the fence! When you add in their "trip charge" of $40, it brought the cost of this small repair to almost $500!!! Needless to say, I felt like I was being ripped off and will not be using House Doctors!!! If I could give less than star, I definitely would.

Dennis was great to work with and his Team was prompt and didn't take a long amount of time to complete the repair. Seemed honest and trustworthy and will hire again for more repairs on my home.

All I asked was for some power washing and painting and somehow they screwed it up. After weeks of confusing conversations I went to look at the work done and they mistreated all of my outdoor furniture, got deck stain/paint all over my house, my yard, and my brand new patio furniture which they seemed to have thrown into my yard. This was the most unprofessional work I have ever seen. I had my window trim touched up and now there is paint on my windows. Could've done it all better myself.

i had wood flooring installed in my family room. The service was performed quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. My floors look absolutely beautiful and it makes me smile just to look at them. ?
