I did not end up buying my car from here, but that is only because I didn't know what I was looking for when I showed up. I had had a horrible day of dealing with other dealerships and dealers when I showed up at East end 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. Robbie met us outside and I told him I was happy to come back because I wasn't going to ask to test drive with only 10 minutes left. He said he was there as long as I needed him. After the test drive he sat down with us and worked with me to figure out some financial questions I had about the whole process and was very sincere in his desire to make sure I had the best deal. So, even though I didn't get my car there, I would still recommend him to someone buying there first car! Thanks again!

My vehicle I purchased came with warranty that was suppose to cover repairs for engine and etc I got my vehicle on March 25th, vehicle went into shop April 2nd and still in there with 4894,31 worth of repairs , warranty is only doing 2300 coverage , I have several oil leaks(front spool valve leaking into the alternator , burning oil leaks oil pump re-seal, valves with gaskets adjust value cover gasket leaking ) and cam shaft! I haven't been able to enjoy my vehicle at all . Before going into the shop I had to put two new tires on it that was 393.08 something dollars with discount tires on March 29th .Still have to make payments on it no rental catching Ubers to get to places . Definitely a HUGE inconvenience. I called the nice ppl back , they won't help with not even giving me a car to drive until mines is ready, thru told me they will was unaware of the car issues and surprise warranty not covering all of it , I haven't even beable to pick up my tags because why no car . So yes The salesman and the owner was very nice but they got over on me! So after I cleaned it up and put my scent in it ..It went straight into the shop!!! Me having to come out my pocket 2594.31 is out of budget for me . The truck is only worth 7,000. I'm praying warranty calls back and decide to cover it all. So please be careful buying from here . I would like a REFUND and the deal unwind with credit acceptance. I haven't even driven 200 miles in vehicle. Honda dealership advise I was sold a bad car and dealership that sold it knew the vehicle had those issues because those repairs can't happen with driving miles

They are horrible and the cars a cheap. Made to look good but cars are no good. They are also rude people I brought a car that I couldn’t drive for 2 months and he wanted me to pay him for something I couldn’t use so the only one who benefited was him

It's a pos car dealership. Don't expect your car to be in good condition. All dealers like this place don't care, they buy at auction for 1500 and sell you for 10000 lol.

So you've driven by this location and seen all the cute little cars in the lot? And now you're thinking, "Yeah, this is the perfect place to find the first car for my teenager, or a nice little commuter for myself"... but then you get that cartoonish image in your head of the used-car-salesman: sleazy liars / compulsive thieves / corrupt & amoral human beings? THAT, my friend, is your spidery-sense tingling, cuz when it comes to east end auto Ashland, it's a check / check / check & check. We paid about $5000 cash for a Chevy Aveo that looked adorable and test drove well. The 30 day warranty gave us peace of mind. Staff knew we had young children (2 in boosters, 2 still in car seats) when they sold us this death mobile. It broke down on the highway w/I a month of purchase. The engine completely seized up and was totaled. That was a big surprise, but fortunately none of us were physically hurt and we were able to get it towed back to the stealership that night (paying cash to a guy who they recommended to tow). We expected they would stand by their product, do everything to help, even reimburse us for the tow. But when I reached out to their financial department about the warranty, it turned out he was a well seasoned scam artist. He twisted everything around to make it sound like we had missed an oil change and that's the reason the engine died. In reality we haven't even had the car long enough to get an oil change. We really needed a car so we foolishly threw good money after bad and let them sell us a rebuilt engine. It was like buying a second used car cuz we were about $8000 in now. Can you guess what happened next? That's right, that engine failed too. All of this was in two months of us buying the car. Let the record show in all our days as car owners, we have never had total engine failure until we bought this car and had TWO within a few weeks of each other. Yes. The second time was even scarier because I was alone with all of our young children and we were stranded on the side of the road in blistering heat w no water / ac / shade for hours until my husband could leave work and come rescue us. I went to the stealership to get answers in person. The shifty sales guy was no help so I asked for the boss. When I stepped into the office and introduced myself, the owner was sitting at a desk with his back to me and refused to stand up or even face me. What a lowly coward. We never recouped financially from this stealership, but they sure gave us a lesson in life.

Neal is a very understanding, kind hearted person. This is the only place I'll ever buy cars from. He's very understanding and isn't out for a paycheck like all other salesmen. Support your small businesses, buy from here. You won't regret it.

Bought a jeep there for my son. Just about everything that could possibly have gone wrong . Went wrong . Breaks. Starter motor, battery alternator, etc. etc the pic below was the break rotor that came off of the jeep. I wouldnt buy a used bicycle from these guys... only reason I gave them one star. Was because they gave me 2 t shirts. Which I used to clean the oil off of my driveway

So the previous reviews made me a little hesitant to shop from East End Auto (btw, how can Ashland be considered East End anyways?...later found out this is a sister location to the actual East End), but I was really interested in a particular vehicle here for my senior parents. I was looking at a high mileage Toyota Highlander, but I banked on Toyota's reputation of reliability and quality and the Carfax was clean, so I brought my parents here anyways. We met Neal Brigham who didn't pressure us into anything and was very nice and pleasant to deal with from the get go. We don't go to the same church, but getting to know him was like buying from a fellow church member and friend that you know at your place of worship. Hey, that's just my take. In very casual conversation with him, he was open and honest about how the used car business works and where he gets his cars from (some being the local big-box Ashland dealerships, no auctions), what he won't accept and the laws & standards the State of Virginia holds him accountable to (like not being able to perform your own state inspections and placing on your own stickers). We also found out that he is retired HCPD. Thank you for your service!
