“Charvay is the light of Patrick Henry, YMCA. She is very welcoming, also was extremely helpful to my children and I. We came to this location for the in-person portion of my CPR training. Thanks to Charvay, plus the Child Watch staff, my children stated “this was the best day of my life.”❤️”

“I visited this Goodwill on a Saturday in Ashland hitting all the thrift/antique stores and if I buy something it automatically gets 5 stars. I go for the household items and this Goodwill had plenty of great choices. I have no idea how each store prices their merchandise, but this Goodwill seemed a bit higher priced then the nearby Glen Allen store. This is a must to go to if you are doing the thrift/antique thing.”

“I could not be more impressed with this facility. My youngest attends pre-school here. I use the gym and we all use the pool. They even have Miracle league so my oldest with special needs gets to have that team experience!!”

“This is coming from a teen who was in the crisis unit- it’s amazing. I’ve been to many crisis stabilization units, and Saint Joseph’s by far is the best. At other crisis units, the staff just act like they’re your doctor, you mostly just sit there and watch tv, and the only thing the staff cares about is your meds. At Saint Joseph’s, is was completely different. I bonded with the staff, along with the other teenagers and children. The children and teens bonded too. The staff truly cares about how your feeling, and how they can help, they truly want what’s best for the kid, and they are the nicest most understanding people. Saint Joseph’s crisis unit actually helped me, unlike other crisis units. I highly recommend this to a teenager in need of mental health help. These people are a blessing!”

“I go to Goodwills all over Central Virginia and this is one of the better ones. I go for the household items and this store had plenty, including a nice set of 6 green salad plates I bought for $4.99 or about 83 cents each. This is a nice large place, looked well organized, no problem parking and if you are in the Glen Allen/Ashland area this is a must to go to. I drove 35 minutes to get to this area and hit 8 thrift/antique stores on a Saturday. Great area to shop and 2 Goodwills to go to.”

“I hate to say anything nice about this place as I don't want other people to find the amazing finds before me but I'm in a kind giving mood today and will share how great this place is! The staff is always so nice and you can always find something you think you can't live without!!”

“Goodwill prices are high all across the board, and this location is no exception. However, their merchandise is less picked over and the staff is really friendly which make it still worth the trip.”
