Nice grocery store with competitive prices. It is a very safe location and the customer service is very good. The shopping center has a variety of stores and gas so it is conveniently located as well.

Sometimes they are rude when I ask a question. But not the young staff, the managers who dress well get rude and rigid. Be nice to everyone at your store! Don't be rude because you never know what people go through and it's not right to be rude!!!

Is it strange to review a grocery store? I don't know, but I seem to spend a lot of time in them and this is my favorite. Although I live in Lovettsville my son goes to Virginia Academy which is next door to this store and it has become my go to place for groceries. Usually very well stocked, and if it isn't it's probably because I am there very early. Unbelievably friendly employees. This is a big selling point for me because things are difficult these days but I do appreciate a smile and hello. Also the in store Starbucks has super nice workers despite some entitled customers who I would probably get fired over. A really nice store!

"Manny" the worker at deli-bakery department. Extremely rude with a bad attitude. I understand not liking your job, but at least treat customers with decency. No idea how he is allowed to work there with that kind of behavior.

You can find everything that you need. It's super clean and organized. Products are fresh. They have 7.99 pizza special every Mondays. They have wipes at the door. They are low on cashiers but they have self check outs.

I like Harris Teeter but I am starting to really become annoyed and disappointed with being overcharged many times. I am especially disappointed with manager Joe C at the Ryan Rd store. I was overcharged for an item, so I went to the customer service and this is not the first or second time. Needless to say, not only I had to wait for a long time (there was no one else in line, just a very slow manager and another employee who did not know how to do her job), the price adjustment the manager did was still more than the price of the item indicated. Supposedly Harris Teeter, according to an article I read at CNBC.com, has a policy that when shoppers are overcharged for products, Harris Teeter is supposed to offer those products for free. Instead, this manager still overcharged me for an item I was more than triple charged (the item should have been $2.15, it was entered by the cashier as $7.50, the manager still charged me $3.27 for it). This manager did not even apologize for the inconvenience I had to go through. I wonder if he changes the store's policy based on who the customer is because he looked at me first from head to foot before processing my refund. For those who don't pay attention to your receipts, you may be surprised how many times you have been overcharged.

I moved to ashburn after the pandemic hit so I don't know if they were always like this but almost every single time we go there I see expired produce. Also, we bought a $20 visa gift card from this location and used it on the App Store. We spent $3 on one game & it went through & we purchased like $16 more expecting it to charge the visa gift card since it was the default payment method. We threw away the gift card and then a day later I find out the visa gift card was rejected for literally no reason and the charges went to my debit card!!!

I love this store they ARE TO EXPENSIVE!! Need to lower the cost of everything have more sales and they have great staff so helpful and keeping to the cleaning everything and is good have MORE SMALLER CARTS there is more then small carts also PUT MORE disabled parking spots they have wonderful food and everything and such great employees and so helpful too. Personnel behind the counter at the meat & fish counter do not wear masks! One particular employee with a dark beard and glasses has the mask on under his chin with face and nose exposed. He doesn't wear a hair net over his beard either! I've gone in to purchase meats numerous times but when he's behind the counter without a mask on, I refuse to have him wait on me and won't get anything from that department. I reported this personally to management twice! Apparently management doesn't follow through with employee or employee doesn't follow the Covid rules! I'm done shopping at this store! Update: Had to pick up Thanksgiving order and the woman behind the deli counter wasn't wearing a mask either. She heard me say something to my husband and quickly put her mask on. The guy that works in the meat department didn't have his mask on again as usual! The mask was hanging off his left ear and he was cutting something with an beard and no hair net. I thought hair nets are a county requirement! After today picking up my Thanksgiving order I made weeks ago, I will no longer shop here! The premade Thanksgiving dinner was bland and too salty!

Really? Really?! Every other grocery is now taking returns for items purchased early on during the Covid panic - with the exception of Harris Teeter. If an item is in a closed/sealed container why ever would a store not take the return for someone else to use? My Kraft salad dressing has been in the store's plastic bag for 2 months now, and the 2 times I've attempted to return it - no joy. The first time there was NO signage that returns were not being taken until I arrived at the customer service counter - and the second time there was an all but invisible 8x12 paper that returns were still not being taken on the sliding doors. When OPENED - no sign was visible! USELESS! I choose to SHOP ELSEWHERE going forward.

Been shopping here for 2 years. Very racist cashiers. I am always.....ALWAYS made aware that I am "Shopping while black" here. 0 stars!!!
