Do not. I repeat. Do not have a car inspected here. I was told my car had an electrical problem because of brake lights. Went to another shop and it was only one light bulb. Also, a visor can be velcroed. Dheetaj was my inspector. They were going to charge me $600 for an $8 issue. Since another reviewer had the issue,

Took my truck in for a state inspection, oil change, free tire rotation and balance since I bought tires for here before.Tires weren't balanced, 25 point inspection wasn't filled out, tire pressure was not corrected.Took my truck back for the re-inspection and asked to have the pressure corrected.Less than 8 days after my first appointment my windshield washer fluid light came on.If you are determined to still go to this location I would recommend asking that Alex does not work on your vehicle.

Did a good job diagnosing and fixing engine thermostat issue with my car. I was disappointed that they tried to charge me almost $180 to replace my Cabin Air Filter. This is a $20 filter on amazon that takes less than 5 minutes to change. Makes me wonder what else they have overcharged us on in the past...

Blew a flat while one block away and drove to them without even knowing they were there. They couldn't help us same day, since they were closing, even though we wanted help just putting our spare on. Took the spare to Exxon and inflated it, even in a downpour, and on the way back, their mechanic, Ashe, met us and was empathetic to our plight, took the car and put it in the garage to mount the spare for us no questions asked, even though they are closing.Ashe is why I still have faith in humanity. They could have avoided it and gone home, but they took the time to save someone in need with no second thoughts. Thanks again, Ashe, you are what the world needs.

Never, ever again. I told myself this before because they are so conveniently located. They are too busy to do anything but oil changes and inspections. Latest experience I dropped off my spare tire with a nail in it to fix. They told me two days. The end of the second day they call me and tell me the nail went in at an angle and they could not fix. I told them it was only a spare and to try. They would not do it. I spent about as much money there over the last decade as my daughters college. I will drive to Leesburg before I spend a dime in this place again.

Very poor service. Last time I will go to this shop. I made an appointment for an oil change. I took off of work early to make my appointment at 4:30pm. On arrival I was told that even though I had an appointment they were “overbooked” and could not do the service. I asked why they did not contact me to let me know since I made the appointment 10 hours prior. They had plenty of time to let me know that they could not honor my appointment and plenty of time to know that they needed to manage walk-ins to honor their appointments. The service guy was not helpful at all when I tried to understand their policy on appointments. He offered an appointment for the next day at 3:00. I would again have to take off work early another day in a row for apparently no guarantee that my appointment will be honor. No thanks.

Fix the scheduling system. I made an appointment to get a tire fixed. Got an email confirming the appointment. And the guy at the counter tells me that they cannot honor the appointment and they have to stay with the car until the afternoon. That until I got there from Leesburg praying that the tire wouldn't go flat. Obviously I cannot drive any further.Normally my go to for quick service, but you botched it.And then I get a call that the tire, brand new tire, is unrepairable an hour before closing and that there are no tires there. Piss poor service.

Oh, if only I could leave NO STARS! The customer service here is dreadful. I made an appointment via their online system on Wednesday. I had a nail in my tire (one of four tires I had recently purchased here months ago with the warranty). I received a call from Sean, the manager, on FRIDAY AFTERNOON stating that I had signed up online for a time that wasn't available and that the only appt available was 4:30 pm. I asked him if I would be able to get my tire repaired or replaced at that late time, as that was my HIGHEST priority. He assured me there would be no issue. Fast forward to 5pm today. Sean calls to tell me the vehicle is ready to pick up. Oh, and after telling me the recommended work that they felt needed to be done (none of which I asked for), he informed me that the service on the tire wasn't done. I ask just how is the vehicle ready for pickup if I still have a nail in my tire, and ask why I was only notified right before closing. He kept saying "Your appt was at 4:30". I reminded him of our conversation on Friday. No apologies, only excuses, and "we're not liable", so, I picked up my vehicle (which still had the nail in the tire...but it was marked and there was more air added for me...so kind...) and took it to Mr. Tire in Leesburg. Steve there waited for us after closing to get my vehicle in, and showed way more attention and customer service than Sean. I will be paying for a new tire, and won't be getting a new tire through my warranty at VTA. Just a small price to pay. VTA will NEVER get my business again.

Quick and efficient state inspection, competent and professional staff. I do wish you’d give the staff up front a couple of barstools as these poor guys have to hunch at the computers for hours but that would be a cheap and quick fix. I appreciate the mailed coupons.

I will never go back here. I have been using their services since they opened in One Loudoun, but in the last few years have had ever increasing problems. The last time I had new tires put on my car, they forgot to replace the lug nut covers on one of my wheels. Not a big deal, but when I asked about it, they said that I could have this "extra" set that they "found". Why not just admit the mistake, apologize, and move on? In April of this year, I had a 60K mile tune up and oil change and new air filters. This also included a "Fuel Induction Service". I heard some rattling on the way home. When I looked under the hood, I noticed that they had not re-attached the hose to the air filter box. In June, I had a cylinder misfiring due to a bad induction coil. They charged me again for a "Fuel Induction Serivce". Unfortunately I did not have my records in front of me to check when the last time I had that. Shame on me, but I asked them to check their records from April and they told me that I did not have one. So they double charged me $185. Again I checked under the hood this time and found that they had also broken a tab off a plastic cover to the air intake duct and just left if floating loose in the engine to cause damage. I immediately took it back to get it replaced. I asked about a new part since it was their fault they told me that they could not do that without speaking with the Service Manager and he was gone already for the day. The tech offered to drill holes and zip tie it for me, which I declined. So they kept my car for several days while the part was ordered. When I filled out the survey email that came after the service and detailed my concerns with how things were handled, I received the following email from Samuel Wingard. He never identified who he is, but I provided copies of my invoices from April and June and inquired about the double charge for the "Fuel Induction Service". It has now been several weeks and I have still not received any kind of gift certificate or response about the charges. So this experience has been nothing but incompetence and lies.Hello,Thank you for providing feedback on your last visit. We have used the various Va Tire and Autos in the Ashburn area for many years. Over the last 3 years their service has degraded significantly. For some reason, we kept giving the One Loudoun location "one more chance". Twice, we have left their after an oil change to get home and find oil streaming from under the car. Both times the claimed it had been inspected, but there was a heavy line of oil streaming out of the car by the time it got home. The final straw was today, we had scheduled an oil change on Weds for 0830 on Friday (in 2 days). As my wife was driving over to drop off the car, they called me and said that even though I had an appointment, they could not get to us until after the weekend! He said they were short staffed, but they must have known that and should have either shut down the reservation system or have someone reach out earlier.

Very quick and efficient inspection. Mad props to the staff dealing with the man crying about failing his inspection today, you guys did well handling the issue, even though the man himself was extremely rude. I’ve never seen a grown man whine so much. Thanks!

Brought car in for second opinion on supposed bent tire rim and loud sound, oil change with 25-point inspection including topping off fluids. As I drove away, boyfriend behind me stops me at light and says brake light is out, police officer pulls up to the side and says, "everything okay" and sees brake light out. Boyfriend replaced the brake light (which had a check mark as being checked by employee) and cabin filter, which wasn't checked off as being looked at. The next day Lorenzo was very helpful with checking that the oil had been changed, put the reminder sticker on car, I asked for the windshield wiper fluid to be topped off since it was near empty, he checked the tire pressures and added air and wrote them down. I've never had a problem before, but I asked that technician never touch my car again. It doesn't leave a feeling of comfort for your safety when you pay money for these things to be done and they don't get done. I guess I have to go for a third opinion on the rim and tires.

The customer service here is terrible. I had an appointment to get something looked at for 8 a.m. and I did not hear anything from them until I called them four hours later. They then told me my car was next to be looked at which was a lie. My car was not ready to be picked up until 6 p.m.. The employees were also extremely rude over the phone. Go anywhere but this place.
