This is my favorite range in NOVA. Facility is very clean and well maintained, staff is professional, and you are treated like an adult. No fudds here.

Silver Eagle Group is one of the best shooting ranges in the DMV area with an excellent storefront and very professional staff. Courtney at the front desk was very professional, patient, and courteous in helping me purchase my first firearm. The range operation is very organized and streamlined and facilities are very clean. Highly recommend this location to all gun enthusiasts!

Great place! The range membership is very affordable and you can rent a variety of firearms to try out. The setup is super safe and ranges are always totally attended, even when they are packed, it does not take long. They also have the best armorers in the area!

Had a great time. Employees are very informative and helpful. Also my rifle got jammed a few times while shooting and RSO was there to help me. I will be coming back.

I used to be a member years ago but this recent trip was the first time in their new building. I rented a pistol I was looking at buying, and the staff were great at walking me through the rental process and getting me out on the range. The facilities are outstanding. The handwashing station especially.

I did a lot of research on FFLs when I chose to change gun stores. I'd had a terrible experience where an employee at another gun store kept me for over 30 minutes, spewing politically divisive vitriol and ignorance.I saw on SEG's website that they had a $45 transfer fee, so I decided to have two stripped lowers transferred there. The voicemail I received asked me to set up an appointment, which I've never done at any FFL before, but I figured, hey, if it means they're expecting me, then it should be quick, right?I arrived at 1903 for a 1915 appointment. At approximately 1945, they began assisting me with the transfer. After three separate employees giving me three separate sets of instructions, I finally started filling out my paperwork. Delays included not being able to find my items, not being able to access the room where my items were stored, phone calls with other customers, and etc... Why my items weren't sitting there waiting for the 1915 appointment is beyond me.At the conclusion of the interaction, after significant delays at every stage, I was informed that I would not be paying the $45 advertised on their website, which was the reason I chose this particular FFL, but I would be paying $150. The employee advised me that the stripped lowers I bought are "NFA items."If someone from the SEG could please explain to me how a stripped lower is an NFA item, I'd love to hear it. While you're at it, please explain to me what the difference in filing the paperwork for an "NFA item" is versus a regular FFL transfer, to warrant a $105 difference. In the end, the cost of paying their absurd transfer fee completely negated the good deal I got on the lowers, and when I informed the representative of this, he said "that's why it's always better to buy them from us." That, I trust, is the crux of the issue. Gotta keep up the profit margins. To say I am extremely disappointed is a vast understatement. I shoot regularly at SEG and it's the closest range to my house. Unfortunately, after they disrespected my time in such an egregious manner and took the opportunity to price gouge me worse than any other gun store ever has, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Unfortunately for SEG, there are PLENTY of ranges / FFLs in NoVA.Edit 03/30/2023: in response to this review, SEG reached out and rectified this issue. A refund for the difference between the incorrect charge and the correct charge had been processed. I'm therefore promoting this from 1 star to 3.

I came here today with my boyfriend, his friend, and his friends girlfriend for the first time. we had multiple rude encounters with the staff:1. the lady at the front desk had absolutely no costumer service skills. there was a misunderstanding with who was grouped for the lanes, however it was obvious that she was frustrated with us which is rude considering how intimidating the whole experience can be as a first time costumer to a range.2.the guy at the checkout line where u pay for ur lane, amo and get safety gear was condescending when my friend was trying to buy amo and ask them questions.3. at the debriefing the instructor initially called me out for being “part of the group” that brought a shotgun. after our session i asked the same instructor what he meant by that comment and his response was “typically people who bring shotguns can’t handle them” implying that we didn’t know how to shoot and never have. it was clear the staff had been talking about us.

The website listing support up to 30 cal, but that is a lie. They have a secret list of banned cartridges, making this little more than a small caliber pistol range. They must have a defective backstop or some kind of management or training problems. If they would honestly list what is allow on their website, it would be less disappointing.

Today I went in the morning with my dad to shoot for the first time. A great experience. The staff helped us in every step of the process of renting the shooting range and the different weapons they offer. It's really worth going. They also give free stickers!

The employees at this range are very rude. I have now started using NRA range and Xcal more often for both rifle and handgun practice as compared to this range just because of the rude employees. Not to get into much details but calling some employees at this facility low key racist and just wannabe tough ladies and gents does not seem unfair and i will leave it their.
