Highly recommend Lori from Rain, she did a great job with my hair. I wanted face framing layers with long layers styled as a U in the back and I just got that perfectly done. Very patient stylist and took her time to create a perfect look. Thank you !!!

This was my 10 year old daughter's first visit to Rain salon, and she loved it! Courtney was so kind and gentle with my daughter's hair. She took her time, and listened to my daughter. My daughter kept raving about Courtney after the appointment and comparing her to the other stylist she had been going to. We will definitely be returning to Rain salon to see Courtney!

I've been going to Lori at Rain for years now. I have curly hair and it's sometimes difficult to find a stylist that knows how to handle it. Lori is a true master at her craft and I've never been unhappy with my hair - it's always well suited to my curls, grows out well, and is exactly what I wanted. We've perfected a cut that I am super happy with, but I also know that if I want to change it up, Lori can really do it all and will translate my vague directions into exactly what I want. The salon experience has always been great, and everyone is so nice and professional. I also really appreciate the ability to book online.

Lori is the only person on the planet that I will let touch my curls with scissors! I have spent money on overpriced specialty curly haircuts that were very disappointing, and have had too many bad experiences with others that left me in tears. Lori knows how to get the layers just right and will make you look and feel like a movie star!?

I have been going there for about less than a year. The staff is wonderful. Courtney has been coloring and cutting my hair. She is a very self-confident and is knowledgeable about coloring and cutting hair. I trust her professional opinion completely and that is a rare quantity!!! She is very energetic and has a wonderful attitude. I would totally recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wonderful stylist!!!

Just had a hair cut. The same is not bad and its aceptable. Does it look like the hair cut, I wanted and that I showed the stylist? No! Did she even make questions/suggestions to the client? No. she went straight to cut it. Made a comment about the layers and did her thing. At the moment of blow drying the hair she asked me if I wanted curl or just regular blow dry? Well the style has a wavy look. To me this is being careless about the look the client wants. So, I said curl so she said is extra cost which, I accepted. She took 5 minutes styling my hair. I knew from the moment she started that either she didn't want to do it or has cero intention to achieve the look. So, surprise! The curling iron was broken so she used the flat iron that later she mentioned it's not the ideal one for the look. Well final product whatever and not caring what the client wants. Comments! She said Next day will look better, well curls were gone 2 hours after. Here is my take. You are working as a stylist, do your best to be the best. Make sure your tools work, ask questions to the client. Make suggestions accordingly, tell the client if you can achieve the look or not, lets be honest, lets provide a good service, not mediocre one. Well, I won't be coming back, this is for sure. Neither my husband who has already stop going.

I love Rain Salon! I have been a customer since moving to Northern Virginia and I love going there. The prices are a bit higher than other salons I've seen or been to but you get a high quality cut or color with great service so it's worth it! The staff is always so friendly and energetic! At this time, I've only had my hair cut there but I've seen some of the other cuts and colors they've done there and they're beautiful! I always go to Wilma and she's absolutely amazing!

You know what’s amazing. Rain salon. I have been looking for a stylist since moving to northern va. I decided to go with Alba and she hooked me up. I was a brassy blonde before this picture. I told her I just wanted red hair and told her to do her thing. I couldn’t be happier with my beautiful hair. If I could give more stars I would because I am so in love with my hair. The salon atmosphere was amazing and the whole staff was extremely friendly.

Courtney at Rain Salon is absolutely amazing! She specializes in color and it really shows. She listened and knew exactly what I wanted and took her time to make sure the results were perfect. She is super funny and has such a bubbly personality. AND the salon is so cute. 10/10 experience.
