Although the staff was friendly and helpful, MyEyeDr is the poster child for all the negative press that the health industry receives. I have visited MyEyeDr three times, twice for eye exams and once for a glasses replacement. Each time I was greeted by an outrageously expensive invoice, full of charges for all sorts of additional examinations that I was not aware that I would be charged for. For instance, my doctor suggested that I get my contacts fitted and that it was "not a big deal and just standard procedure". In addition to being completely useless, it racked me up another $80 charge! A heads up would have been nice! More recently, when I was shopping for glasses, the assistant assured me that my insurance would cover the entire cost of the replacement. Wrong, it covered less than a quarter. The constant pushing of unnecessary examinations and products make MyEyeDr a great place to go if you want to feel like you have once again been robbed by the medical industry.

We absolutely loved the staff here. They were so helpful! Special spotlight on Aisha, Mike, and Jim! They took time to help find glasses based on our preference. loved the whole experience!

The worst customer service in delivery time. It took them 3 weeks of not delivering lenses only. Promises after promises. On top of that they will accuse you of already picking them up. How did I picked up and I still have the old lenses in my frame.!!!

Since the change to Myeyedr., this place is terrible. My exams are ok but getting my glasses has been a nightmare. Maybe because the opticians can only get robot cut lenses. I have been trying since February to get my glasses adjusted for what I need. They are basically unusable now for work. I’ve been waiting for updates and none come. I’ve written to corporate to try to get my money back to go to a real place to get my glasses. Needless to say I will never order glasses here again. Not sure what’s going on but for me to spend a few hundred bucks and have a paperweight really sucks. Not sure if the management changed with the new company, but communication is bad. I really miss the old ashburn eye care associates.

Very Disappointed - our appointment was confirmed a while back, received text 3 days before to confirm appointment, which we did. But on the day of appointment when we reached office, we were told doctor is out of office this week. They should at at least inform patients under such situations.

Avoid!Go to the one in One Loudoun!The staff is rude. They don’t pick up the phone! The signage is wrong.Except the inconspicuous sticker on the door, it’s hard to know that this is a ‘Myeyedr’ store.

My entire family go to this location but looks like it is time to change now. I was there with my son on Tuesday after exam when time to order lens their system was not workin after waiting for 25 minutes they said they will call me the next day and order. So I waited next day and no call. Next day I call left message again same result no call back. Here I am on fourth day at the desk and have sense of apology at all. I guess they have too much busy now so they have I don’t care kind of attitude now. I am done with this guys

This eye care place has been a staple for me and my mother for years. The doctors are always so friendly and helpful! The rest of the staff is always so pleasant as well. The waiting room is constantly kept neat and tidy.

I have been a long time customer, and, since this practice was bought out by myeyedr, it has been clear that patient service has taken a back seat to making money. Solutions that my optician and I found to be the best for me are no longer available, and customer interaction is directed to their cumbersome website where the information is out of date and inaccurate.

I had a great comprehensive eye exam visit. It was so easy to book an appt online. I was able to get an appt the very next day on a Saturday. Very pleasant receptionists and the tech who took the imaging was so sweet. There was not a lot of waiting around, they were very timely and efficient.Dr. Slavin herself was very personable, thorough, and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me about my eyes, answered all my questions, and took her time to get to know me. I know they're busy but my appt didn't feel rushed. I did not feel like a number. The optician, Melanie was also very kind. She was so patient in helping me pick out the frame/ style of eyeglasses and helped me get the best bang for my buck. Overall, my appointment was 10/10. I don't know how they're all so happy at this office considering it's a Saturday and they're working. They must love their job! I will gladly come back to this practice for my annual checks.A photo with Dr. Slavin cuz she's so cool ??

Absolutely terrible experience every single time I have to use My Eye Doctor; It always revolves around billing. It NEVER fails that I and my wife receive an additional amount due after we receive our glasses. Of course I call the insurance company to find out what the deal is and they ALWAYS say that everything was covered or My Eye Dr coded wrong. Unfortunately this is one of the only places that carry a decent selection of prescription sunglasses that my insurance covers. I do not recommend and will not be back.

When we moved to Maryland I searched for a new eye doctor. After 9 years of dissatisfaction I came back to Dr Slavin. She and her office are wonderful, very responsive. Highly recommend!

Melanie is FANTASTIC!! Patience thoughtfully and helped me a 2 great frames. Highly recommend her and this office for a great experience. Also want to call out Dr Green she was very helpful in getting my prescriptions just right. The entire staff is EXCELLENT!!!
