I had a terrible experience from the moment I walked in and absolutely regret not walking away. I asked MALAK for a single hair color and show her a picture of what I wanted which was a copper brown. She first told me single hair color is only for root touched up which is a flat out lie. I was here back in February and got the same service with someone else of course and it was amazing service and great results. So I told MALAK this was not my first time here and I wanted to get everything that comes with SINGLE COLOR which is the following; Single Application Color, Shampoo, Conditioning Rinse, and Blowdry/Basic Set. She said it did not include blowdry only air dry. And that she couldn’t do the color I wanted because she was going to need bleach and it was more money. She suggested a different brown color. I say fine, she colored, shampoo/ washed my hair and as soon as she was done she requested me to paid as they were getting ready to closed. I told her I was going to pay cash and I had a 20% coupon good until 7/11. Almost immediately she told me it’s too late because she completed the transaction. How are you going to complete transaction without receiving the payment from me? I told her to do it again because I wanted to used my coupon and she refused to do it and suggested to use it next time. You really think I want to come back after refusing to apply my coupon? I told her that was very messed up and that anyone could easy walked away since day finalized the transaction without receiving any money. She laughed like it was funny and said no one will walk away. At this point, I was so furious and walked away as soon she gave my change. I did not even sit for the “air dry” that she said comes with single hair color. And did not get a chance to see my color since my hair is all wet. I came home and I dislike the results so much the color it’s not even there. Management please do something about it. Or update whatever changes on your services on the website. Because I paid $74 and did not get everything close to what the description says and per MALAK blowdry not included with this service.

, retired agent from Air France, at Ashburn's store. I had just got the worst coloring, and haircut, at Super Cuts in Pittsburgh. I pleaded, if he could help me. With what he had to work with, my color, trim and style was unbelievable!!!

Worst service I ever had at Hair Cuttery or at any other salons so far.
I specifically told her(MANA) the specifics that I needed but she ignored that and made it worse. She didn’t clean back of the neck and didn’t even cut the side locks properly which I had to it at home after her worst cutting.
I’d have given zero rating to her and also please teach her to look for the specifics in the systems what I had from last time (I asked her to use same specifics and she didn’t know how to look)
If needed, please wait until you get appointment with Robert. Never book with her

Have been going here for over a year BUT the past three haircuts over 6 months have left with a bleeding neck! Not going back! Stylist claims it is not her fault!??

This will be the last time I’m visiting this traditional hair cutting shop. It’s just cost me an astronomical price for a standard hair cut and light beard trim. Cost me 80$ including some shampoo that had a discount on it. I’m dissatisfied In the charges and this isn’t right to be asking the prices they are charging for a traditional veteran hair cutting shop . I could see if this is a more unique shop. I came in for a men’s standard haircut and a light beard trim . Let me state the stylist was attentive to my cut . It’s the charges that I’m dissatisfied with. Just moved tot he area from out of state and this seems to be the standard in this area. Astronomical pricing

Terrible! Went into this hair cuttery with an exact picture of what I wanted. My hair was cut no where close to the picture. I was told it was because of the texture of my hair. Several inches chopped. Another hair stylist attempted to fix but was just as bad. She was Arguing with me saying she'd have to cut a huge chunk off but I thought it was unreasonable just to angle the front. Left in tears. Done with hair cuttery for good. If a stylist does not know how to cut a certain style... say so, don't assume it's ok to cut how the stylist wants to. I brought in a picture for a reason. It took me 2.5 years to grow the last hair cut out that was cut the exact same way as today. So upset! I will pay more to go elsewhere from now on. Went to a different salon right after and hair was fixed easily and simply, literally took 3 minutes. Never again will I even think about going into a hair cuttery.

Gianna has done my haircut and blow outs the last 3 months and recently she did my highlights haircut and blow out and everything turned out amazing , I would recommend people to book with her she understands what you want and is very cautious with what you need done and even recommends different ways of doing the service so the hair turns out perfect .
