43170 Southern Walk Plz Ste 104, AshburnβReally enjoyed my first rowing class with Coach Joe! He is a natural coach and cheerleader. He kept us pumped and engaged the entire session. Loved the music track too!β
βI have been here over a year now and feel like now it's the best time to write an honest review. This is the cleanest and most organized gym in the whole Nova area!! Roxanne and her cleaning crew are the best for this facility. This ensures that everything runs smoothly and that there are no unexpected interruptions. This level of organization reduces the time you spend looking for equipment and allows you to focus more on your workout. The overall atmosphere is one of a kind and everyone who works here treats everyone with respect, making it a place where you can feel comfortable and motivated to achieve your fitness goals!!β
βI have been wanting to join burn for a long time but life was busy and I just didnβt have the time to fully commit. I finally signed my husband and I up for the promotion in January & itβs been the best thing to happen to us both. The trainers, childcare, community, and leadership are top notch! We both recently hit our 50 camps and will be getting 100 camps before our vacation in June. We have committed to put our health first this year so we can be healthy for our children. Best decision I made was us signing up!β
βTru=Strength changed my life when I joined in February. Seth is an amazing coach. Starting as a beginner having no idea what half the movements were, he was patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The results I am seeing are amazing. I feel stronger and more confident. The community here is unbelievably amazing. So much connection and support. I now call this place one of my Homes.β
βEverything at this gym just makes perfect sense, from the coaches to the admin. What a great experience! they take the time and walk you through everything from start to finish- you're never alone throughout the process! Highly recommend!β

20604 Gordon Pk Sq STE 130, AshburnβMy favorite workout class ever! Such a great fusion of workouts and thereβs something for everyone. Especially people with bad knees that need low impact. Such a cute studio that provides water and towels. Kathy keeps everyone motivated and has so much great energy! Love bringing people and coming back.β
βMy son (14) and I have been attending Power Train since Nov 1, 2023 and we really enjoy it.My son is attending the evening sessions and learning how to lift properly and he enjoys all of the instructors. They βgetβ him.I have been enjoying the early bird sessions and some of the other attendees have been going to PT for more than 5 years! I can see why - efficient yet challenging workouts that get results.Iβm happy I was referred to PT and love all the trainers ! Thanks crew - we appreciate you!β
βIβve been training here for a year now and I love this gym! The coaching, the friendships, the community make Exsurgo stand apart from every other gym Iβve tried (and failed) to join. The equipment is always in perfect working order (cleaned and disinfected too!) and the coaches are always on hand to make sure youβre getting the most from your workout - whether itβs adapting to any limitations or challenging you to exceed your own expectations. Iβm looking forward to being a member well into their bright future!β

44050 Ashburn Village Blvd #189, AshburnβI joined a few weeks ago and I love it! As someone who historically hasnβt been able to stick to exercise, I have consistently been going since signing up because itβs so fun. Great energy and all the coaches are wonderful. So far, so good and highly recommend!β

21020 Sycolin Rd Suite 115, AshburnβThis place is great honestly, Gale, Jodi, and the rest of the F45 team is fantastic! First time I came here Gale really warmed me up and made me feel so comfortable. Jodi was so motivational throughout my entire workout the first time she even met me! Now I look forward to going every class! I would really recommend this place to anybody thatβs needing a little push to get into the gym, everyone is so friendly and helps you out significantly! Dont think twice about F45β

19945 Riverside Cmns Plz, AshburnβSo I've been coming to Oak for about 2 years now officially in May I believe. I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review but here it is... This is not your typical gym. And I know that may be a cliche but it isn't. This is a community gym. The atmosphere is kind and supportive no matter who you are or your fitness level. For reference I am a 30 year old woman and have friends here that are twice my age. I've never felt pressured, bullied or creeped out once. Now let's talk about the staff... Brent. Brent, is the manager and has been since I joined. He has built a wonderful team and as far as I can tell a pretty positive work environment for everyone. He always remembers my name despite the fact that I've hardly ever worked with him directly. Wendy. Wendy is exceptional with members and our community. She always waves and stops to talk to me when she passes. And I'm pretty sure she knows everyone at this point :) I've made friends with many of the trainers here and so will you. Let's see who we've got... Zoe. Zoe is someone I've known for two years now and have actually become close friends with. She is without a doubt the nicest woman I've ever met. She knows a lot about running and cardio, so if you've got the thrill for a race she is your girl! Dan. Dan is a character and who many people turn to for advice about basic movement mechanics and health. Oh and he is pretty much athletic in everything. Just ask what he does in his free time. Haha Chris. Chris is a rockstar. He does classes in the early mornings along with a few other trainers and is consistently a happy guy. He will always try to make you laugh...don't tell Dan I said that. Stacy. I don't know Stacy very well but I know she works hard and is an early bird that loves to run. She has always been very sweet and kind towards everyone. I can't list all the people that make this place great but these are definitely the people that have influenced me the most. For the first year at Oak I worked out almost every day and every day I was greeted with the same kindness and support. Without that I'm not sure I would have stuck out with my journey. I can now do 5 pull ups in a row, deadlift over 220lbs and hip thrust over 300lbs. These are just a few of the goals I've set and reached for myself and I'm so glad I was able to accomplish them in such a place as Oak. If you have toured the place you already now how clean it is and that there are countless showers and lockers to choose from. Equipment is kept clean and ready to use. I hardly see a broken piece of equipment. And if I have it doesn't stay broken for long. Not all gyms are great so if you thought this place doesn't have enough to offer I think I can gladly state that it does. So if you are thinking about joining please don't hesitate. It's worth it. βSuper clean facility! I am so happy to be a member. Great equipment always clean and ready to use! Very friendly, respectful and caring staff! They listen! Therefore could you add step aerobics class please!!! βΊοΈ.β
βHands downβBest gym in town. Staff is great, equipment is top of the line, and the environment is motivating.
The only thing β why does it have that specific smell? ?β
βWe've been at this gym for over a year. We started at Hope and it was awful. The instructors here are patient, they provide follow-ups to the parents, they take their time with the kids and the children really enjoy themselves. My daughter looks forward to her classes weekly and I'm very impressed with them.β
βBeen with BBW for a year and a half in the best shape of my 30βs and still getting better. Love changing it up on a regular basis. For a more intimate personal training session choose BBWβ
βJoining Fitness Center was the best thing I did for my health maintenance. In particular I like Planet Fitness-Ashburn for its friendly staff and clean well-maintained facilities.β
βThe Gold's Gym on Red Rum Dr went out of business in 2021 due to poor management or something. Now, years later, the old Golds place is still just sitting there, dusty, empty, unrented. Guys, PLEASE expand. Expand to the old Golds, they had a basketball court!
Now I come to this LA fitness every day for 1 hour and spend half my time waiting for groups of highschoolers to stop hogging the equipment. How can I look over at your group of 5 using the bench press and see 0 people benching? How is this possible?
If you like compound lifts, good luck if you want to come here between 5-7pm. Here's what you can expect for wait times:
Squat rack (they have 3) - 15 minutes
Barbell bench (3) - 15 minutes. I'm going to lose my mind if I see another person doing a DUMBELL press at the BARBELL bench.
Pull-down machine (3) - 10 minutes
Ok, it's not all bad. This gym would be great if it weren't so busy. They have....
- Dumbbells in every 2.5 lb increment up to 52.5 lb
- A large green turf area (crowded after 5pm sadly)
- No shortage of plates, including many 2.5 lb plates. OneLife Brambleton, take notes!
- Free guests, so I can bring my mom and I don't have to pay $20 (ahem, OneLife Brambleton?)
- Generally a lot of nice machines, especially compared to the LAF in Sterling.
- Free classes
I would give 3 stars but I don't want to encourage anyone new to join unless they EXPAND. We (I) can't handle it.
Update 12/5/23 from 2 stars to 5 definitely because I love this gym, and definitely not just for the free merch.β
