Pharmacy services too slow and low staff

I've just started using this pharmacy and they are terribly understaffed. But worse some of the staff they do have are very aggressive and rude. I'm not an expert in medicine or health insurance, but they have no interest in answering even one question and will rudely get aggressive even after you say it's fine and you'll figure it out later. Hopefully they don't give me a hard time transferring my prescription elsewhere.

The prescription management process at this Giant is way behind others I’ve seen. The rely on labeled bags in a drawer but sometimes on a table but sometimes behind the counter. It’s the same search each time. Without Kyle here the place would be total chaos.

I have been dealing with a series of hospitalizations and surgeries and have been using this pharmacy throughout this time. Twice recently, I had a family member pick up my prescriptions and didn’t notice til they got home that the pain medications weren’t included. This has caused a hassle after surgery when I am relying on others to pick them up for me. It seems shady to me that both times, only the pain medication was held back. My familymember gets told verbally that it isn’t in stock but when I call and ask specifically they say it’s right there waiting. So why not give it to the person coming for my prescriptions?

This is my neighborhood pharmacy and my favorite. The staff is Always polite and VERY kind. Great service overall.

Kim, who works in the pharmacy has been super kind, caring and encouraging. I’ve picked up my monthly prescription at this location every month for almost one year now because of Kim. She is an asset to this company. I would know because I myself am an employee of Giant. For this reason I stay loyal by keeping my prescription to this company however picking up such a script can draw suspecting eyes and critical looks. Nevertheless, Kim has never casts such dispersions nor judgements upon me and for that I have a great respect for her.

Went last Friday evening for the first time. The wait was much longer than the initial 30 minutes I was given as an estimate of wait time.

No enough staff, never has prescriptions ready and told me my insurance wasn't on file.. charged me 160$$ for a 10 dollar prescription!!! Took me 3 months to get my money back because I WAS on file.

They fill prescriptions promptly, and they have an automated reminder and refill system that is part of Giant Food's pharmacy department. The times I usually stop in to pick up a prescription are after work, and there isn't much of a wait (few minutes at most). The one area where I feel this location needs improvement deal with a change in the manufacturer of a medication. Several times I have seen a refill of a medication change manufacturers, which means the new pill looks slightly different than the old one. Only once did the pharmacist mention this to me. On the other occasions I would notice a change, and I would look up the medication to ensure the new pill was the correct medication.

Always check your prices if you gave them coupons. I continuously get charged the wrong co-pays because they refuse to check my coupons I have provided and left for them to add to my file. They assume we have to tell them at pick-up we have a coupon when we did so and left it with them. No other pharmacy has this issued but unfortunately they are the closest. Nice people but their process needs vast improvement.

So I have to get my mothers medicine every month that she has to order but every time she goes in to pick up the order they've been telling her it's been out of stock. She then tells me this has been happening for months like seriously, how do you not have it in stock and make her wait few more days then say again its not in and make her wait longer!
