I went in today to look for some long-lasting chews for my dogs and they were incredibly helpful. I was able to get things done around the house while my two Velcro dogs chewed away. Well be back!

I took my pet Tessa, and they left her beautiful, thank you Jerber, for your good work. I was very satisfied with the beautiful attention of the staff in general.

I went to Belly Rubs before the holidays to get presents for my two dogs. Teresa, the owner, gave me great recommendations, and my dogs love all their gifts. They love the stuffed toy she recommended and it is still in great shape; one of my dogs usually slowly nibbles stuffed toys until they're shredded. And the molds that I can freeze and fill with treats are phenomenal! As soon as my dogs see them come out of the freezer they go to their "places" to wait. Two bonuses: They were running a "red bag" special for the holidays, and I got a discount for everything I could fit in the bag (and they fit *a lot* in those bags) and they made a donation to FOHA for every purchase! A win for everyone!

Everything was wonderful! I did a walk in self wash along with having them do a nail trim and ear cleaning. The nail trim and ear cleaning was very quick and they did an EXCELLENT job! Trimmed the nails to a good length and his ears still look squeaky clean a week later. As for the self wash, I had a bit of trouble just because my dog is difficult but the tubs made it so much easier than normal when I have to carry him into my shower! In addition, the awesome ladies up front came over and helped me to keep him calm while getting the rest of the soap out of his fur. The price was reasonable and they had treats to be purchased, I got my dog the peanut butter oat cookies and he loves them!! I'll be back soon, that's for sure!!ETA:Apparently I loved them 5 years ago, and I still love them today! I go out of my way to take my dog to Belly Rubs even though I live a bit further away now. They no longer have the self washing station but it's not too difficult to get an appointment as long as you do so in advance, and they're great about contacting if you're on a waitlist and there's a cancellation. They're always super quick and thorough and my dog does pretty well with them despite not loving water in general. They acquired the unit next door and turned it into one, the spa and then a biscuit bar and shop. A lot of the same folks have been working there for awhile and always recognize my dog and I when we come in. Overall just a great experience!

My pup waa horrible about getting his nails clipped at home. At Belly Rubs I am told he is a good boi and a happy man. He also HATES water, thus making bathing him so hard for us at home (he is a short single coated pupper, no a pup I would normally pay to have bathed) they do so good with him,and have zero issues. I am convinced they work some kind of magic there. I love Belly Rubs! Also, love the cookie bar!

They are pretty great. I have two large dramatic German Shepherds and they treat them very well and have no problems with their eccentricities. They come home from a spa bath happy, healthy, and clean and smelling great!

I had dropped off my dog at 9:58am for his 10am grooming appointment. After i had reached home, at 10:15 I receive a call from the groomer to ask me if my dog will be coming in for his grooming because he is 15 minutes late. After i had told them that i dropped off my dog on time, at 10am, they said “oh wait” and did not come back to the phone for a few minutes and then when they came back i had asked them if everything is okay and they just hung up the phone on me. When i had called back they told me that my dog was in fact 15 minutes late and sorry for the confusion. After all that confusion they had with my dog (WHEN HE WAS BROUGHT ON TIME) i did not feel comfortable for them to keep him there as they did not even acknowledge the fact that he was already getting groomed when they called. Do not trust this groomer with your pets.

The folks at Belly Rubs are a delight to work with. My Golden Doodle is a tough one and grooming him takes tons of patience and skill. Belly Rubs figured out how to manage him and calm him down during the entire process. Needless to stay I am a huge fan and a customer for life!

This place is a total rip off! They have cut my dog's skin numerous times, I pay extra for ear cleanings and they don't go deep enough which has resulted in ear infections for my puppy. Their prices are exorbitant and because there aren't many options in this area, they get away with all of it. If you have a choice, steer clear, especially if your dog has curly hair.

I have been taking my dogs to Belly Rubs for 9 years now since we moved to Virginia, but it is nearly impossible to get appointments now. I just picked up my dog and was ready to make future appointments but was told they had no more appointments until next year. Good for you guys to have so much business that you won't notice that I'm gone, because who can wait 6 months + for a groomer appointment when you have a long haired dog? (And this isn't the first time I've had a really hard time getting in.)

I’m not happy with the haircut given to my Maltipoo; they gave her a poodle look and basically shaved her that’s not what I asked for…so disappointed as the last visit they did great. Her face is not evenly cut….just horrible. I don’t think they took any time to consider our request of the cut; it appears it was easier for them to just shave her completely. I will have to find another groomer. In response to the owner…this review was not with malice but rather my experience. My baby was NOT excessively matted and I think that is unprofessional for you to have tat response to my experience. She may have had a knot or two from the wearing of her collar but we take great care of her, combing and brushing her coat daily. We can agree to disagree but for you to claim she was extremely matted as if she is not cared for is a low blow. Lastly, your staff informed him that they would call IF they needed to cut her down which didn’t happen. I as the consumer has a right to express my opinions and experiences and that is what I did. I wish your company nothing but the best.

Our dog Allie since adopted has been going to Belly Rubs. They were outstanding in handling her through her first couple of visits to get her used to the process. Gradually she was able to be muzzle-less as she became comfortable with her care plan.Allie loves her spa days now! She is spoiled and has to have Leah take care of her and give her hugs and cuddles - all part of the care plan when she comes to get a proper bath and nail trimming. We couldn’t go anywhere else to meet our pup's needs.
