I had a disappointing experience at this salon. Despite booking online and confirming through email, I received a message from the stylist en route, asking me to reschedule or go to another salon. This left me frustrated, especially after having already paid for parking. The stylist suggested walking to a nearby salon, which was inconvenient. When I inquired about seeing another stylist at the original salon, I was told they were busy. The situation was handled poorly and lacked professionalism.

After waiting a full year to get a haircut after being extremely disappointed by another salon, I am so excited to have gotten the PERFECT cut from Redouane. He was attentive, personable, and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any one looking for a haircut in the Arlington/Ballston or even D.C. area.

My 83 year old mother went to Vostyle today and was so happy with the cut and service. She kept going on about how friendly they are. She has struggled finding somebody that listens to what she really wants and she was so pleased. She looks amazing.

Stylists are contractors and do not listen to appt request and add additional services to upcharge you at end. Bad judgment when it comes to hair color. Now have to spend even more $$$ fixing the issues.

Fabulous! Red has transformed my hair into an updated, younger look and it feels much silkier too. If you're seeking a fresh look, he's got ideas and skilled scissors too. Plus he will make the whole experience entertaining.

Great spot to get a haircut for men. I recommend Redouan, who knows men's hair well and is up to-date with the latest styles.

I went to Vostyle after moving here and left the appointment in tears. They booked me with a female named Eve, and when I showed up no one was there except Redouane. Fine, I sat down, and immediately noticed that he was flinging my head around like a rag doll. Also put a towel over my eyes when washing my hair and pressed down on the towel, which hurt. Scrubbed my head so harshly it hurt. I don't know if he had no idea how to cut women's hair or what, but he knotted my hair just to cut off the knots. I asked for a straight cut, he gave me *single* layer, I say a *single* layer because rather than doing nice layering on the bottom, he just cut my hair two different lengths. It looks nothing like the picture I showed him, and it's much shorter. At one point he had me flip my hair upside down and just started cutting. I noticed when I got home that it's completely uneven. I'm not usually a dramatic person and I've never posted a review before even if I was unsatisfied with a business, but between the haircut and the fact that he was throwing my head around (not asking if I could move one way or the other, just pushing me) I literally walked out of there feeling like I had been assaulted. Don't go.

I've been seeing Luciano for keratin treatments and cuts for a few years now and will never go anywhere else. I've tried all different types of straightening treatments and Luciano's is by far the best I've ever had. Luciano does the most detailed job and always makes sure that I'm happy with the results. He's very personable and I enjoying spending my afternoons with him. He is also extremely flexible with my schedule and very accommodating. If you are like me and your hair doesn't like the Arlington humidity, you MUST book a keratin appointment with Luciano. You will not regret it!

After moving to the Ballston area in 2017, I wanted to find a salon I could visit by foot. For over 6 years, Vostyle has been the only salon I trust to give me the men's haircut I need. Luciano is very talented and goes above and beyond to make his many clients happy. He is an expert at his craft and a genuine person who makes everyone that sits in his chair comfortable. There is rarely much of a wait, the cut itself is efficient (despite my challenging, thick/curly hair) and I'm always pleased with the end result. I've recently moved out of Arlington, but still make the 15+ mile drive into Ballston every month for the stylish men's haircut I've come to rely on. If you've found Vostyle, you're lucky. Don't look any further.

I've been seeing Luciano for a few years now (and a pinch hit cut from Eve when he's not available) and am always extremely pleased with my cut. I look forward to the shampoo and scalp massage before every cut and then when the cut begins, Luciano does the most detailed job I've ever had; who knew the detail you could get down to for a guy who just does a simple cut. My work schedule is pretty hectic so I greatly appreciate him being flexible with me. Also, he's very personable, so during the cut the convos are great, but also is completely fine when I've got to focus on work with via my phones. Some stylists would get offended because of this, but not Luciano! I highly recommend Luciano and the rest of the Vostyle crew. Unfortunately I'm moving away soon and I've got to say, I'm going to miss them!

I haven't been to a hair salon since the pandemic. My hair got so long it started feeling like a mop. I called Vostyle on the day of and they booked me an appointment with Eve. I only asked for a haircut, but Eve was so nice and did the washing, blow drying and styling as well! I'm very happy with the result. I feel 5 pounds lighter! Also it's my first time curling my hair - I've always had it straight and it's nice to have a change. Happy customer all around and will come back for coloring! (Note: it's a windy day so in the photo my hair has been blown by the harsh wind. Still holds up nicely though)

Eve is the best! This is the first salon in Arlington that I have continued to come back to for my haircuts specifically to see Eve. I have very thick long hair so my haircuts always take a while but she is patient and takes her time to make sure my hair looks exactly like I want it. I recently decided to switch it up and go a little shorter / add curtain bangs and she did an amazing job!!

Absolutely loved my visit to VoStyle! I hadn't dyed my hair for a few months (albeit my last dye was only on the bottom half of my hair...which I had cut off a week before coming here) and booked my appointment with VoStyle on a whim. The staff was all incredibly friendly and talented; they helped me decide on the right color and style for my needs, and they did a phenomenal job executing on all of my requests. I had a balayage and blow-out color, and the entire ordeal took about two hours. After blow drying my hair, they also gave it a quick curl.My only complaints about VoStyle came from the days before my appointment. I had originally booked an appointment for 10 AM on a Saturday, but they made two phone calls earlier on in the week -- one to confirm the services that I had requested and another to ask to move my appointment to 11 AM. The request to move my appointment was the slightest bit unprofessional, especially because I still had to wait about 35 minutes after my new appointment time to actually start on my hair, but it wasn't too big a deal at all. All of the staff members are incredibly sweet, and I definitely plan to come back here in the future for all my hair needs.Services: Hairstyling
