This place was fantastic. They made the change of address so easy. Brandi was terrific. We needed to show an old lease/voter card because the ID didn't match the old address, but that was clearly specified in the online notes. They made this very easy and quick.

The post office is OK in terms of in person service. But I mailed a check from the post office that ended up getting fraudulently altered and several thousand dollars taken from my bank account. A call to the US postal inspector did not yield results. They just said it was another case of check washing and there probably would be no formal investigation or anyone charged with the crime. Don't put anything in the outside mailbox because apparently keys have been made and given to people who don't work for the post office. Go inside if you have to mail something.

This is by far my favorite post office in Arlington! Even though I live in Rosslyn, I most often drive to this post office because of the friendly staff who take extra care to service my Philatelic requests!

Opened mail. Packages returned to sender for no apparent reason. Wrong mail delivered to my mailbox. Mail not delivered to my mailbox for days. Rude front desk. Horrible service.

I have lived all over the country and I do a lot of business with the USPS. This place blows me away with their lack of customer service. I moved to the area recently, and when I explained that I was certain I had the correct postage on my outgoing mailers that I have sent every single month for over three years, because I had a previous post office help me figure out the exact postage, the supervisor flatly asked “why don’t you take these to the other post office then?” Because I moved here from another state! I was shocked at how unfriendly, unhelpful, and unconcerned with listening to or assisting me they were. I only go here because I walk everywhere and this is the closest PO to me.

This is a really decent, helpful place.I have been here several times to send mail to other place. This place always doesn't have a long queue and helpful place. Old white gentleman is really professional and helpful. I really prefer to use this location. stongly recommended

- International package arrived on Monday afternoon (May 6th) while I was at work. Came home, got the usual pink slipper at the door. - Went online that evening, redelivery section which also offer me "customer picks up" option which I chose. I even wrote a note telling them to make sure the package stays in the post office for obvious reason, just in case. - The next day (May 7th, around 2:15pm) went to pick up the package here. Took them few minutes finding my stuff. An older Middle Eastern lady employee at the counter told me, the package is currently in transit for redelivery. I got furious right away, explained to her simply what I did online, PLUS pulled off my phone right at her face showing USPS confirmation email "We've received your request to pick up your package at a Post Office" - My request was plain and simple with a clear proof. That old lady pretty much ignored everything with ice cold expression and said "We are redelivery your package as you requested online" But if I chose redelivery option then she would've receive the date I wanted the carrier to redelivery my package. But it was pointless to continue arguing so I left. As a result, my package didn't even show up at all that same day. Of course. - The next morning (May 8th, 9am) I went to US Post Office here once again but right when they opened. They located my package within a second without any problem. That's the way it should be. But the main problem remains. Redelivery on the website is absolutely horrendous. Even when you choose an option "customer picks up". The automatic confirmation email will say customer picks up. BUT on the article detail it says requested REDELIVER as well as update on tracking number of your package, it will say "Redelivery Scheduled". So the best 0 star award goes to that older lady with ice cold attitude and her immature customer service, well deserved. ** One very positive note, an older Indian lady employee named Tika was the one helped me out with my package (May 8th, 9am) She was outstanding and very friendly. Thank you! **

Pleasant feel to a room post office with a stocked postal store. Nice conversation with clerk who sold me stamps. Noted photo of namesake Preston King, World War II hero. This could be a community center, like Post Offices of yore.

This post office is great .I live in Falls Church City . I have chosen to come here since the FC post office staff area so rude, nasty and disrespectful. This Washington St post office has always been extremely helpful, courteous, and even staying open in the evening if the line is long (may not let people in if the doors are close). You want rudeness? Go to Falls Church, Broad Street location .As far as the carriors are concerned, you get good and bad all over the country. Not just Northern Virginia.

Worst Post office in the USA! I never get all my mail, they miss deliver my mail to my neighbor's and I miss paying my bills on time because the carriers out of this post office Rarely deliver my mail to my address!
